Keep me engaged from start to finish!

I loved that it was set in PNW! This whodunit kept me engaged from start to finish. JC Fuller did an EXCEPTIONAL job describing enough, characters included, that I truly could envision everything including the scenery. I cannot wait to dive into book two!

Suspenseful movement

I cannot wait to read the next one in the series. I read a lot and ran out of good authors to read, until I found JC Fuller! I bought the book because it is narrated by Nancy Peterson who has never let me down. I was not disappointed and read the book nonstop!

A mystery that keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat!

This mystery was fantastic!! I found Fuller on t•kt•k and love her videos, so I had to check out her mystery suspense! I am SO glad I did. I listened to this one and loved the narrator. In fact part way through I checked to see the names of the narrators, only to be shocked to find out it was only ONE - Nancy Peterson - she is FANTASTIC!!

As far as the mystery, this book had me all over the place trying to guess who the murderer was. It got very suspenseful once the murderer showed themselves. The mystery was well written and clues layered out cleverly. I always think it must be hard to write a good mystery that isn’t easy to guess. Fuller is AMAZING and I will definitely be reading more!

The characters are really well written and the island very well described. I look forward to see more of what happens on Rockfish Island, and what happens to the characters. I’m seeing a possible romance that may progress, I hope. The people on that island were really unique, as Sheriff Lane finds out.

If you love a good mystery, with suspense and a possibility of romance in the air, you definitely should check out this book! I definitely recommend it!

The perfect balance of character development & speed of story that kept me on the edge of my seat. Not to mention, Nancy is one of the best narrators out there! I’m so excited to start the next book in this series!

Talk about a dynamic duo. With J. C. Fuller’s mystery and Nancy Peterson’s narration you can’t go wrong. Loved it!

Excellent mystery and amazing cast of characters.

If you’re looking for a new mystery series this is it! Intriguing characters, a confounding small town mystery with secrets revealed at every turn, and a twist at the end that you’ll never see coming. I can’t wait to find out what happens next!

If you like a murder mystery, get out your notebook and try to solve this one! You’ll be hooked with guessing who the killer is until the end.

Good plot

I liked the story. Great whodunnit type. I had a hard time with the narration. I found her very difficult to listen to. It got a little more tolerable as it went on.
