Everything is not always as it seems...
This is the 2nd book in the Aspen Falls novels and it did not disappoint. We follow Lucas as he comes to terms with life outside of his old job as a police officer and his new life as a private investigator. Along the way he meets the love of his life. It took Alaina a while to admit that she was feeling more than gratitude for Lucas as he investigates her brother’s apparent suicide. The ending will surprise you, at least we get an HEA.
