Great story

Listened to this story while traveling with family for spring break. Everyone enjoyed. The AI did sound a little robotic but it didn’t take away from the story. My husband, 15 yr old daughter and I all want to listen to Book 2!

I enjoyed the story but the AI is what ruined it for me. I hope the remaining books aren't read the same way.

Best AI Narration

AI NARRATION

PROS: Narration didn’t sound annoying, disjointed, rushed, or robotic. With AI you don’t have to deal with hearing the narrator’s breath, spit, or those awful dramatic “S” and “P” sounds. As far as AI reading goes, this was pretty good.

CONS: AI reading wasn’t able to use different accents for the different characters, it lost the opportunity to add emphasis on exciting parts, and lacked a bit of personality.

STORY

PROS: Appropriate for YA, uses simple verbiage, has relatable side characters.

CONS: Lacks plot complexity, lacks character development, and lacks world building.

Bad narration ruins story

I couldn’t even listen to the entire first chapter as the bad AI narrator droned on and I had no idea what was going on, if a character was talking or if it was narration.
