This series is getting better and better. Trust me, I read a lot of LitRPG and this one is top notch

just as good as the other two books.

If you want more of the Elysium's Multiverse then you will get it in book 3. It's just as good as the last two. I do have a single gripe. I listen to a lot of litrpgs and I have to admit that I am EXTREMELY fatigued by the slow corruption gimik. Either it's an eldritch horror in your soul, slowly changing due to some unexplained illness or a constant struggle of willpower to overcome some corrupting skill. I am a little tired of it.

best of the books so far

3rd person writing is weird as an audiobook, like someone talking about themselves in 3rd person. It was very pronounced in the first book, and has gotten better with each progressive book. At this point, the oddity for me is when Riven laid down his expected roadmap for Chicago. It sounded reasonable, but I feel blanket statements who to enslave and punish lacks the nuance he's looking for. Then again, he did just murder an entire city to restore a friend he failed to protect. It's as if he hasn't realized that he's a target yet 🤦

Amazing

I found this series through Reddit ads and now it’s in my top three favorite series, and i am seriously hoping this series goes on a long time, and the narrator is very good too, i hope the author gains more recognition! Absolutely love stories that have vampires, especially if it’s the main character. I haven’t seen many like it so in my opinion the story is creative in that regard. The pacing is perfect to my preferences and i love the world building and character development as the story goes on! I can see some good improvement from the previous books as well, being the author isn’t overusing certain phrases anymore, and the character development seems to be improving too, meaning riven’s personality seems to be matching the world around him more than in the previous books. Many thanks to both author and narrator for providing a good story. The narrator also provides great performance, with easily recognizable voices for certain characters, perfect sound control, and no mouth noises or breaths. Thank you both!

Oh wow, they are mentioning a random guy by name and even gave him a small back storie. He must play some viral role in the story later on! .... and he's dead.

Great Dark Fantasy

This series has become quite captivating. Despite an OP main charicter, growth and development is still entertaining. I'm excited to see where this story goes. Can be dark, but not explicit.

AMAZING ENGAGING STORY!!

This book is about to be my absolute favorite story, and ive been reading he who is fights with monsters and defiance of the fall! The main character is absolutely badass. The scale ofthe story and universe is huge and just addictive. I just finished book 3 and book 4 comes out in 2 weeks feels like im a junkie waiting for my next fix haha If the author reads this, please keep them coming!
