Listen to this beautiful, haunting tale!

Brown’s ability to find and describe beauty through pain and despair from either an aerial bird’s eye view or from a confined earth bound space is inspiring. Cul-de-Sac is an imagined visual treat as well as an audial one. Brown uses words as if they were musical notes. He composes word rhythms and sounds and weaves them through his storyline enhancing this haunting tale. This is a magical, visual and aural story worthy of a campfire. I highly recommend it for both adults and young adults. I have listened to it twice and expect that I and others will listen to it again and again.
