A cozy summer romance with low angst and high heat.

Beautiful
A great story with a beautiful ending. The characters, I absolutely loved definitely made me hopeful that love still exist in the world like this.

queer/gay cubs/bears being referenced
I love how descriptive it was, not just the x scenes but in the admiration of the mountains, I could close my eyes and picture everything. I kinda didn't like how predictable the ending came, though I'm happy with it, I wished I would keep guessing the unthinkable a bit more.

An interesting premise
A well written, sex forward, body positive tale of sweaty nights and, surprisingly, about growing up. While I may not have enjoyed *all* the sex scenes, the story's premise kept me reading the whole way through to see what would happen to the main characters and sticks the ending rather well! In the end it also made me want to go outside and take a hike again thanks to Dylans colorful description of the Pacific Northwest.

Absolutely Stunning – I Need More!
Dylan Drakes, you magnificent genius, how dare you write something so utterly breathtaking and then end it? Cubs & Campfires had me hooked from the first page with its warmth, wit, and unbearably sexy tension. Luca and Artair’s chemistry? Off. The. Charts. The romance was beautiful, the setting was dreamy, and the sex scenes? Whew.
Honestly, my only complaint is that I needed more—more pages, more cuddles under the stars, more of Luca being a lovable disaster, and definitely more of Red Bear and his oh-so-charming wilderness magic. I was not ready to say goodbye.
Dylan, if you’re reading this, please take my shameless begging as encouragement to gift the world with a sequel. I’ll be waiting—impatiently, dramatically, and probably re-reading this one while I do.
