Hilarious!!

This is the perfect book for audio! It was HILAROUS, steamy, and so engaging! Wonderful performance and a super fun audio book!

“Crash-Landed in Love” by Piper Scott and Renee Fox is a highly entertaining and spicy read. Al is such a sweet, clueless and loveable alien and Jude is just a regular human trying to make it in this world. The storyline is fun and it is funny but at the same time there is some realness. Jude and Al are just regular guys within their own worlds. They each have had struggles. These things bring a bit of a Hurt/Comfort feel to the book and there are parts with this that temper the humor, but enhance the characters. I really like Jude since I can relate to some of his struggles, but, Al… Al is everything that is good and he deserves the best. Their HEA is well done and I hope to see them again as the series progresses.

Michael Ferraiuolo narrated this audiobook. I felt the characters and the world were enhanced by his performance. The production quality was good and pacing was just right.

- I will add a little note about an aspect of audiobooks I know some people have struggles with. There are some words in the alien language that are given a different tone or reverberation. It can be uncomfortable to listen to and I had to take breaks during the parts where this was used the most. But aside from that… it was great!

I received a copy of this audiobook and this is my honest opinion.

Scifi romance

Great story. College, Alien, pot smoking, weird language romance. throw in some unexpected eggs and a whole lot if laughs. the writing is fantastic and is only made better by the great narration of Michael Ferraiuolo. He did a truly amazing job bringing this book and all of the hysterical characters to life. This one is definitely worth listening to.

Such an entertaining listen, I enjoyed the narrator’s performance and the writing is creative and has an excellent sense of humor. There is loads of humor in Jude and Al’s story and I thought the narrator pulled that off well - it is a great weekend chill and relax kind of listen. Only one bed isn’t a favorite trope of mine, but adding a shape shifting sweetheart of an alien makes all the difference. There’s just enough drama and a few surprises along the way that kept me engaged and definitely hoping for a happy ending for Al and Jude. A great story with an excellent performance!

Jude and Al

I loved this audio book and the story! The narration really brought the story to life and the voices were really well done in this instance. I assume voicing an alien learning English isn’t the easiest thing to do, but it worked flawlessly here. The story was also a lot of fun with the unexpected turns you expect to find from these authors. I appreciated the character development and the miscommunication between Al and Jude was believable given their completely different planets. I can’t wait to hear more from these characters!

Out-of-This-World! Brilliant Story & Listen🎧

“Crash-Landed in Love”, the first book of Piper Scott and Renee Fox’s “He’s Out of This World” series is just what I was expecting it to be, absolutely amazing, and I loved everything about it. The story is interesting and original, drawing you in right from the start and captivates your attention the entire time. Jude Adler’s drive out to the desert to get away from it all and take his mind off of his troubles, turns into something so unexpected and something huge. Witnessing a crash landing of a spaceship, coming face-to-face with an alien being and not sure what he was thinking, but he winds up taking said alien back to his apartment to keep him safe and away from the government and the men in black. Having an unpronounceable name, he changed it to Al, making it easy for his new humanoid friend. Al felt an instant connection to Jude, who was patient with him as he learned the way of humans, their language, time, and way of life. Things take off when Al realizes who Jude is to him and, unbeknownst to Jude, Al takes the relationship to another level, something Jude learns soon after. Jude tries to hide what Al is from his roommate, Ezra, but Ezra is on to them, which helps when Al needs someone to confide in. There is never a dull moment in this cleverly plotted story, a story that has the perfect balance of drama, humor, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. The world building, character growth and development are incredible. The witty dialogue is brilliant and hilarious and it was great to watch Al get accustomed to the way of life, and a life with Jude, who doubts himself and his ability to be in a relationship. Piper Scott and Renee Fox, thank you for this wonderfully entertaining story, the laughs and the emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Michael Ferraiuolo is a versatile voice artist, and he did a fabulous voicing these characters, giving each their own distinct sound, making it easy to follow along and tell who was who. His portrayal of each was spot on, grasping every aspect of their personality and demeanor perfectly, from Jude’s insecurities to Al’s quirkiness, and was just as amazing performing the roles of the side/secondary characters too. Setting the right tone for the story, his pacing was great, and he handled the back-and-forth banter and witty dialogue effortlessly, and landed the humor naturally. You could hear how much heart he puts into his performance as he captures all the characters’ emotions and has you feeling them all. Ferraiuolo is an entertaining storyteller and his performance elevates this already amazing story to another level.

Enjoyed it a Lot

I don't remember last I time I laughed out loud while listening to the story, maybe a year ago, but not recently. This story is full of funny one liners, cute MCs, romantic shenanigans and alien situations. I loved how Al transformed into cover model from Jude's books, what a great idea if you want to seduce your cute savior dude. Narration was amazing and made this story even better with Michael's talented performance.

An out of this world love story

Al and Jude are adorable and I absolutely laughed and maybe teared up just a bit while listening to this story! Al literally crashes in front of Jude while Jude was just trying to be moody out watching the stars. There are super cute cultural misunderstandings as Al stumbles his way through human life. Jude and Al hit it off but Jude doesn't think that Al will stick around once an alien uber is available to pick him up. There's actually a lot of heart beneath the surface. It may seem like a surface level fluff piece, but both Jude and Al are dealing with disapproving families and feelings of not being enough. They understand each other and click on a whole other level. When Jude's surprise change is revealed, his feelings of being not good enough rise up and threaten his relationship with Al. There's a nice balance between humor and serious feelings that kept me engaged from the first word to the last. I can't wait to get more from this universe! This is packed with lots of stupid human concepts (like time and language), steamy moments, sweet feelings, and unexpected surprises! Michael Ferraiuolo gives one of my favorite performances as Al and I just need more of everything!!

I honestly sure what to expect, but this was so silly and hilarious, with a little bit of angst thrown in.

Funny and Adorable

I enjoyed this book a great deal. Al is just adorable and I laughed out loud several times at his antics. I really liked Jude and Al’s love story. This is a really fun listen and if you like alien romances I highly recommend it.
