Secrets, Revenge, Murder and a Sassy Cat

I absolutely loved everything about this book. Secrets run wild on Tablerock, TX, and they are to die for. The plot is strong and engaging. The characters are very believable and headstrong. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but I will say this you will not regret reading/ listening to this book. Meghan Kelly really brought life and realism into this story. She was a phenomenal narrator. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves mysteries, magic, humor, and, of course, cats.

RECOMMENDED CLEAN MAGICAL MYSTERY

Instead of saying what I liked about this book I will say what I didn't like: NOTHING. But I will anyway, it was entertaining, engaging , wonderous and held my attention very well, if distracted I even re listened to some parts.
The characters were realistic and inspired empathy when needed, the cats are adorable and don't you think I missed that hook line comment near the end of the book, Leanne Leeds, I didn't. Therefore I am raring to listen to the next book and I think I know just which cat that comment refers too!
The narrator did a fantastic job as usual, such an easy listening voice.

Great Cozy Mystery!

This is the first book in the Silver Circle Cat Rescue Mysteries series.  You don’t have to be a cat lover to enjoy this story!  Ellie Rockwell and her daughter Evie move to Tablerock, TX to open a cat shelter. The police bring her the former mayor’s cat, Belladonna and her tray, after she was accused of murdering her estranged husband. Then the cat seems to be talking, and things really get bizarre. You’ll want to check out this book to find out who the murderer is and if this cat is really talking. I enjoyed this cozy mystery and the characters in it.  There was a hint of romance and some action and mystery.  Meghan Kelly’s narration is awesome as always. Her performance brings these characters and the story to life. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Great Mystery Audiobook

I really enjoy listening to Meghan Kelly's narration. Her voice is soothing and entertaining. She knows how to deliver quality audiobooks which keep me gripped from page one til the end. This book was a combination of supernatural and murder mystery with a feline being the prime witness to many secrets. The characters are wonderful and the storyline unique.

an awesome story

I really enjoyed this story. It was full of great characters & cats. The plot kept me guessing and I couldn't put it down. The idea of someone leaving their fortune to a cat c rescue was a great twist. I loved it.

Different, Delightful, I want More!

Ellie has her hands full! What with running a furiously growing cat shelter and trying to be there for her daughter Evie, the last thing she needs is to be knee deep in a murder investigation! Then there’s that odd silver tray, the talking kitty, and the fear that everyone will think she’s nuts! “Crystals, Belladonna and Murder” brilliantly kicks off the new Silver Circle Cat Rescue cozy paranormal mystery series! This was a totally different experience for me. I’ve never listened to a cozy mystery where the characters faced the challenges that Ellie and especially Evie face every day! Their story is woven beautifully into the mystery at hand, making this story a compelling listen on so many levels! No spoilers! Just know that there is nothing naughty going on! These characters, ALL these characters are DELIGHTFULLY realistic, so much so that I wanted to put a few on “time out”! The dialogue, so realistic that I swear I heard those very words, those sentences, coming out of my kids mouths, my mothers mouth, back in the day! It rings that true! It’s that believable! The flow of the story is perfect. From beginning to end, it all makes sense! It kept me engaged. It kept me listening and guessing, wrongly or course, who done it! When the reveal came, I was surprised, but once all the facts came to light, I got It! It all made brilliant, beautiful sense! The narration was fantastic, the voicing choices so perfectly fitting each character’s personality, so clear, truly bringing the authors beautiful words to life! I loved everything about this one. Five fabulous stars!

Cats and Cozy Crime Bk 1

The MC, Eleanor Rockwell is a relatable struggling single mother with a handicap daughter, with real life problems. Our MC tries to stay true to herself and be a good role model for her (sometimes manipulating) immature daughter, Evie.

It isn't until Eleanor inherits millions from the murdered former mayor Fiona Blackwell and her cat that people in her town point fingers while metaphorically extending their other hand out for some money -

This cozy mystery really does have "real life" issues we can all relate to and the cats..... Ms Leanne Leeds definitely hit the nail on the head when she writes about the attitude and character of cats in such a independent and snob-ish manner. Meghan Kelly lends her voice to each character with ease allowing you to easily follow along with the story visualizing each character.
