An absorbing story line

A great story with an interesting plot line. I like the fact that the story and plot take precedence over the sex. Allows the story to really involve you.

Great story with no spice.

I love the author and have bought every book he has on audible. He is one of the few authors that when a new book drops it is an automatic buy. The story is great as usual there is a good amount of progression, some new information about the world and the background of the character that gives a nice view into the universe David created. The fourth wall break bit was neat, keep it up. David does harem books and he does them well, however this book is a fade to black type of harem lit, unlike most of his other works that can be spicy. If you are buying for mature scenes be warn you will not have any. That being said if your buying for a good story, I would highly recommend. Have a great day to whomever reads this recommendation.

Seems like filler or an in between, nothing actually happened in this book tho I can probably do the same thing about me driving to the grocery store and what I got.

Third book in this series was very good. I continue to really enjoy these characters and the plot has maintained the level of originality I have come to enjoy about this series

Solid story progression. A well preformed and entertaining series thus far.

Third book and the momentum is picking up steam. The MC is gaining in power quickly. I can’t tell if this book series will be 4 or 5 books, but it feels like 5. 6 would be a stretch if they’re all to be the same size. After Prism Academy, I like a 6 book series to tie up loose ends and set up another possible arc.

Anywho, the book is well written and entertaining. Full of pop culture references to boot.

But I love it. David Burke is certainly one of my favorite authors of the new generation.

Less love my wives and more plot

I've enjoyed the series so far, and there is quite a bit of backstory expansion. However, every chapter with the MC seems to involve which of his wives he is going to bed. It was fine at first, but it's getting in the story's way to the point that the plot is becoming secondary. I hope this changes in the next book. The story hooked me, and the consent reference to the MC getting it on with his wives will drive me away.

Could not finish. The mc still hates one of his wives he is still beyond arrogant and just very unlikable.
Example. When the hated wife power is boosted the other wives assume finally intimacy. As our mc yells oh not this again.
Example. When a divine beast who says they know his ancestors and they will help him. He is to busy demanding why they are here and want to talk to him. After encounter he says he wished he had more time to ask about his ancestors. Huge laugh , he was too busy being an arrogant ass hat.
Did the author use a ghost writer for this series. Maybe his next will be better
