Good story.

I won’t get too in detail but if you like an extremely prudish extremely arrogant MC with a god complex. Who hates one of his wives and makes her go through sever daily beatings but in his magnanimous nature showing he tells her we are just friends and going at your pace when and if you are ready for intimacy then she knows the beatings will continue.
The author carefully spends 2 full books explaining to us why the mc is the way he is and while his arrogance becomes annoying.
The story is good if you can deal with very slow burn plot this series is for you

Ryan has escaped from the controlling plans of the clans. Having said that, even if they don’t know where he is, one of his more possessive wives might know where he is as well. To make matters worse, incursions seem to be happening closer to him bringing with them a wave of monsters!

It still surprises me that I enjoyed a harem novel this much! It certainly helps that it is suggestive and fade to black rather than going NSFW. The story is fantastic and the character development of all four main characters is getting deeper! Daniel Wisniewski and Rebecca Woods do a fantastic job with the dual narration!

Bah, story is ok but it’s a harem story, and i don’t like that. Quite mild so far though, so if you are looking for a harem story this might not have enough for you. Mostly focus on relationship building with the three girls

Awesome cultivation harem book

Very detailed oriented and voices were pleasant to hear, awesome story and something to look forward to in December .

Can’t wait for the next book.

Great story and good writing. I enjoyed the characters and the world building. Can’t wait for the next one and where the adventure goes from there.

soo I feel if you going as far as this is with the flirting and sutch you mind aswell just add the explicit chapters in as a separate chapter that can be skipped over if the reader so chooses

I love the author he always does a great job. That being said, one of the things I like in his books is some spicy content here and there like all his other series. This one is fade to black I automatically buy from few authors when they drop a book. this is a good book not great, but good. I might come back to this series, but this isn't one of the ones that really draws me in without something a little extra. More of a note to myself. if you really liked the first book in this series you love this too. Just not for me have a good day hope you guys have some good listening experiences.

A story worth your time!

The second book turned out so good! David Burke is writing his ass off! I was exposed to him from Prism Academy, and he hasn’t disappointed me yet. The story turned what I assumed would be a secondary meet cute into a full team sport story with cultivation LitRPG!

It’s so good! I’m enjoying the books so much, even if it doesn’t have the smut I expected originally. This feels more like classic fantasy with choice adult themes.

Narration is on point. I can’t wait until book 3 is released.
