good performance. sorry is... not the best from GW but good enough. typical of the greater good ;)

Good for a Tua book

As an Ork guy this book was pretty good. Great performance like normal. Story was good. It has your standard combat mixed in with so Tua politics. Not great but if your a Tua guy or has a passing interest then it’s not a bad listen and leaves you wanting to follow the bread crumbs of the next book.

a captivating read for anyone fond of warhammer stories and especially tau lore. highly recommend.

Very good Tau story.

Really good story. Well written and decently paced. Word Word Word Word good book.

Almost excellent! Not quite, but almost.

In my opinion, this book does for the Tau what Graham MacNiel’s “Uriel Ventris Saga” did for the Ultramarines: give some much-needed depth to a sometimes controversial faction, and put a fleshed-out character front and center as that faction’s representative. It can feel a bit slow at times, but the story as a whole is good, the narration is very good, and the climax is absolutely excellent. All in all, a solid 4/5!

Tau’va

Ngl, kinda like the Tau! I enjoy the fact that they can challenge the astartes.

Needed more tau audio books and this nails it

This book really puts the taus placement in the galaxy into perspective. It also gives a nice view of space marines as antagonists. And a sprinkle of warp.

The Greater Good

loved it, I want more!!!! the story is very well told and written, it gives you a lot of insight of the tau and imperium.

A lot of T'au lore to carve their own place in the grimdark.

Great scenes in this.

Different narrators for T'au and Imperials which is awesome.

Lots of references to Damocles.

Interesting perspective marred by a bit of frustration

The story is interesting, however it started slowly and could have used a bit more of a hook at the beginning. The voice performance is strong with the exception of the voice used for one of the space marine chapters. The performer affects a sort of Russian accent, but it sounds awkward and cartoonish and it pulled me out of the immersion to the point that I did not enjoy the portions involving the marines. I also struggled a bit with the tau portions as their representation comes off as cliche Japanese stereotypes. This may be more of a comment on the Tau in general rather than this particular novel.
