Lovely

Simply lovely. Loved the plot and the narrator. Fell in love with the characters. Making a connection to the characters was easy to do, do to the writing style. Just enjoyable!

A Floridian

I’m so happy to have come across Erin Zak. This is my first book by her, and I loved it. Had no idea she was our own local author. Love the fact that the story is set in St Pete, FL. Narrator is ok, I really enjoy when they have different voices for different characters however in a few cases I felt that the voice did not meet the right character but she clearly showed feelings in her speech. Totally worth it.

Loved the story. Loved that it was told from the 3 character’s points of view and loved the narration!

New discovery

1st if I have a new found favorite in a new Narrator I haven’t listen from. Luna Larking is amazing! I’m putting her as one of my top 3 after Lori Prince and Abby Craden! A definite yes for this narrator.
And 2nd, first time I listen to this author’s work. And my first instant reaction after the book ended was what a beautiful story! The self reflection and discovery of each character; the fact that I got to listen from each characters viewpoint was amazing. I found myself reflecting on my life so far and related to Susan’s story most. I loved Jackie’s personality and Beth is every parents dream of what a child could be at that age. Her joy and the way she approaches everything. I loved this book and definitely going to get another story from the author and the narrator. A must!

Great Narrator but a couple of issues

Having actually grown up in St. Pete, I had some cringes around place pronunciation. It would be great of the actors wouldn't assume but actually investigate how names are pronounced. When they are mispronounced so badly, it creates a hard stop in the story. It's Ybor pronounce Eebor, and Dun eee don, not dune-din. There were a few more... otherwise a beautiful story and a great listen.

Spousal abuse, physical violence should be noted. Otherwise the author manages a happy ever after.

Really good.

A lot better than I was expecting. I’m glad there wasn’t so much drama that it distracted from the story. I had to settle into the narrator, though. Her voice was a little too anxious sounding for me at first, but once I adjusted I really enjoyed listening to the book.

Excellent listen

this is a great story, I thought there will be more drama with the husband, but it was Ok that’s he didn’t cause problems.
The MCs were loveable and courageous. and narration was great.

Loved, Loved, loved this book!

I absolutely loved this book! In fact, I would have to say it is one of the best lesbian romance books I’ve ever read. It could have to do with the fact that I was adopted, who knows? But, I would recommend this read to anyone who loves lesbian romance. Not to mention, the narrator was awesome! I will probably listen to it over and over, as I enjoyed it that much. Highly recommend!
