Nightmare Penitentiary is no joke. The worst of the worst in the paranormal world end up at NP, and I just got sentenced there.

For others, this might be cause for freaking the hell out. But for me, it’s a f--king relief.

You see, I’ve been sold off to the big bad asshole, Alpha Bowen - thanks Mom and Dad! But if they think I’m going to go quietly, or at all, they haven’t been paying attention to how I roll.

Nightmare Penitentiary is the perfect place to escape, and I’m ready. If only people would stop trying to break me out. Seriously, it’s annoying.

I’m ready to relax and serve my sentence, but then I meet the prison guard, Rook. I can’t seem to escape his heated stares, the head wobbles, or the dimples. Sweet pop rocks, the dimples!

You’re not supposed to meet the male of your dreams in prison, but tell that to fate. Too bad I’m not as out of reach from the troubles hunting me down as I thought...and now, there’s nowhere to run because, like, I got myself imprisoned. FML.

Snark

It is a shame that it looks like this book is a one-off. If you like snark, this is the book for you. The writing and narrator are the perfect combination. The characters are likable and I want to see more of their lives and adventures.

Absolutely fantastic!

I love Raven Kennedy and Ivy Asher’s books. I read the kindle version of the book and when I saw that the audiobook was out, I bought it immediately. Did not disappoint! Sinclair is sassy and hilarious. Rook is sexy and yummy.

Such a great enemy to lovers book. I really enjoyed it. The "saucy parts" were beautifully written and wouldn't be considered gross.

Funny

I started this book not knowing how well I’d like it. One chapter in and I was laughing hysterically. Sinclair is funny and willing to go to great lengths not to marry the pack Alpha. I do think she’s slightly crazy but what she deals with, with her Mam there’s no wonder why. This book is sexually charged and exciting!!

I fell in love with the main character, so funny so quirky so different so like me- then came him and I fell in LOVE AGAIN- wish he was real🥰

Finally an original storyline!

Loved this book! I can’t say that enough. I don’t know if the author was trying out a version of Harlequin, but she nailed it. Most other authors exaggerates the antics or it just comes across as annoying. Chef’s kiss!! FMC is pure delight and chaos! Not only that but she introduced a shifter form that was kickass. This book was a breath of fresh air. The story line was original and flowed so beautifully. The writing was superb. Hooked from the first paragraph. The authors metaphors were off the charts!! MMC was delicious. Soft and strong. The things the FMC put him through, I will laugh for days just thinking about it. The banter between them is awesome. I can’t praise this book enough. The narrator was great. Performance was great. Those looking for spice. I would say medium spice. 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Fantastic

I bought this on a whim not knowing what to expect, and to be honest I wasn’t expecting much. This book is such a fantastic hidden gem! It’s Hilarious, steamy, and that ending!! I do wish this wasn’t a standalone as I would have loved to have more of these characters! Absolutely worth the credit

Loved It

So funny. It was great fun and totally hilarious, the narrator was wonderful so she totally made it come alive. I laughed out loud you just end up loving Sinclair because she has such a good nature, pizazz, humor and you just wait to see what next funny thing is going to come out of her mouth or she is going to do. The story is fun and different and well worth the listen so if you need a book that makes you laugh, steamy sex scenes, familial issues and romance then this is for you. I definitely recommend it is worth the cost or the credit.
