About this listen

Love should be everything or not at all.

At least that's what I used to think.

I'm 17 now, and back in Malibu. Mama's drying out back East, and here I am living with my father and his new wife, Tiffany Blume, Hollywood harlot. At least that's what Mama calls her. I keep my distance. I just have to bide my time until I turn 18 and go off to college. Away from them; away from Seth Drake.

Seth is living his dream. Studying acting in New York City, landing a recurring role in a hit series, and grabbing my heart one last time until it breaks.

He's got fame. Fortune will likely follow.

I hate him.

I love him.

Adult content.

Claimed

This is the second book in this series. We move forward more on the semi-relationship between Neely and Seth. Each is moving ahead in their own life but they do come together. It’s been two years and some thing have changed but others haven’t. I felt sorry for Neely in this one. I feel she was surprised and hurt.

I did listen to this on audio and Rachelle Williams did another good job. She does more than just read. She puts feeling into the words.

Evermore...evermore.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I'm new to the author, the narrator but glad I took a chance. I just finished book 2 with lots of drama and a good storyline. I like the progression and development of the characters so far. Looking forward to the next book. Well done and different. Not my usual selection but this is an interesting and good series. The first book was like an introduction to the characters and there is a great flow to the series. I like Neely. She's smart and naive with layers of honesty, sweetness and heartbreak. And over time she's refreshing as you see her grow into herself. Live and Learn...Iove the time period too.

good story

Good story and I enjoy listening but so sad both books seems to end a little abruptly. But I guess it is a good way to get you on to the next book the series. 😁

Good second book with great narration

This is the first series by Andrea Smith I'm reading/listening to. Both books flashed back to different points in the timeline of the storyline. In the first book it didn't bother me as much, but I wish the author would just tell the story at this point. My heart still squeezes with pain for Neely and I'm not so happy with Seth at all. The cliff hanger on this one was brutal!! Looking forward to the next book!

Rachelle Williams is an excellent narrator. I LOVE her voice and accent. She has great talent. Her performance was flawless.

Teenage Angst

Claimed by Andrea Smith is a wonderful story full of teenage angst, first love blossoming, hope and a gamut of emotions. Seth and Neely are the focus in this book. Rachelle Williams is wonderful bringing the characters to life. She inflicts the right emotions in her voice which add to the realistic vibe of the story. I am really enjoying this Evermore series.

Great coming of age story

This story picks right up where Crushed left off and keeps you waiting for more. Neely is back in Malibu and runs into Seth over the holidays. After one incredible night, she thinks things are back to normal between them until she meets Seth’s mean-girl girlfriend. Although Neely wants nothing to do with Seth, fate keeps bringing them back together. This is a great coming of age book filled with lots of teenage angst. Be sure to read Crushed first. You don’t want to miss a minute of this story.

Author keeps you on the edge of this young love

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. The narrator didn't disappoint in this second book. The story of Neely and Seth continues, but a rift has come between, They both love each other, but it isn't the right time for them to be together. Neely still has issues with her parents and is lashing out in college. The listener gets absorbed in to the author's story. She is such a good writer by making you feel like you are watching Neely's life unfold before you. The narrator did an awesome job with this book in the series as well.

Intriguing continuation

That picks up where we left off but again ends abruptly and with more questions than answers at this point I'm sucked in to see what happens and that HEA is even further away.I do wish we had some of Seth's POV to figure out WTH he's thinking. Narration is done extremely well.

Book2 of 4.

I received this Audiobook from the author through Story Origin.
I didn't realize this is Book 2 of a 4 part series. I was a little lost at the beginning. And the end was so abrupt, I wondered what the....?
This piece of the story was very interesting. This girl is muddling her way from adolescence into adulthood. Hopelessly in love with a guy who is scarred himself... Her parents have issues. Struggles all around.
Well read. Well told.

keep it coming!

Claimed is book 2 in the Evermore series and it delves deeper into the Neely’s life back with her father. Finally seeing Seth, old feelings come out, but are the feelings strong enough to get them back together? Seth is in college, secrets were kept from Neely and life at her father’s is settling in. So many things are still up in the air. Her mother’s rehabilitation, Neely’s decisions for her future and the surprise at the end may just change it all. Andrea Smith has me captivated, investing my heart in these characters and I can’t wait til the next listen. Rachelle Williams keeps it fresh and emotional with her fantastic narration.
