About this listen

Dirk Sexton is a 30-year-old playboy with a conscience. He wants the sex without feeling the guilt of his meaningless one-night stands. Deciding to take a chance, he finally takes the leap only to realize that he may have chosen the wrong sister.

Autumn Dey may be Summer's twin sister, but they are definitely not identical. Summer is tall and toned...and, well, Autumn isn't. When Summer starts dating her sister's gorgeous new boss, Dirk Sexton, Autumn slides herself into the friend zone, admiring from afar. Until, that is, her alter ego and 900 operator discovers Dirk's true desires. Will love truly conquer all?

Light And Sweet With A Dose Of Humor And Steam!

Dirk And Autumn Both Feel Something When They Meet, But Neither Recognizes What Those Feelings Are.

Dirk R. Sexton, roughly thirty, works for his hard-to-please father. He runs several family-owned radio stations, working out of WQRK, Quirk-99 radio station in Indianapolis. His father claims Dirk has no business sense, that he is too preoccupied with women to properly mentor and lead his staff. Dirk simply believes that his father no longer remembers what it is like to be young and verile. His father went so far as to implement a no-fraternization policy, which might have bothered Dirk not long ago. Now, however, women have become boring. They all look the same - tall and thin with model-like looks - and they all have the same dull personalities. Dirk is ready for a commitment, but only with the right woman, and he isn't having any luck finding her.

Autumn Dey, twenty-five, works at a 900 call-in service under the name Ramona. She perfected a sexy southern accent for the role. The online profile her potential clients see more closely resembles her fraternal twin and best friend Summer. Summer is a willowy blonde with blue eyes, a former cheerleader. Men flock to her, and she goes from relationship to relationship, always the one to break up when she eventially becomes bored. She never second guesses herself. Her self-confidence serves her well; she makes a killing in pharmaceutical sales.

Autumn, in contrast, isn't as tall and has brown hair and eyes. She is big-boned with curves and was captain of the debate team. While she can be spunky and opinionated, she is also cautious, often observing rather than participating when in social settings. Her one advantage is her voice, something she has honed and perfected over the years. She majored in Communications in college, but somehow ended up working the 900 line. It happens to pay quite well, although it isn't the kind of job she talks openly about. Her clients are mostly horny, yet many call out of sheer loneliness. In those instances she, as Ramona, functions more like a therapist. She listens, gives her support, and offers advice.

Autumn wants more. She wants to put her degree to work doing something that she can take pride in. When she sees that WQRK is looking for someone to take the midnight to three shift for a new call-in show called “Midnight Caller,” she jumps at the opportunity to audition. She lands the job on the spot, but what surprises her more is that she recognizes her handsome new boss's voice and matches him to her new client, Roland. The lonely but very shallow playboy that started calling Ramona recently - and is a newbie to using 900 numbers.

When Dirk hires Autumn, he knows her talent will make "Midnight Caller" a huge hit, thereby proving his worth to his father. Autumn makes Dirk feel something strange but she isn't his type, and besides that, there is that no-fraternization rule. So when he sees Autumn's twin sister, who happens to be exactly his type, he doesn't think too much about it before asking her out.

Dirk and Autumn both feel something when they meet, but neither recognizes what those feelings are. Dirk doesn't recognize his attraction to Autumn initially because she doesn't conform to his type. Out of habit, he dismisses the idea of being attracted to her. Autumn fails to recognize it because of her lack of self-confidence and because of Dirk's conversations with Ramona, which don't exactly paint him as a good catch. Even when they feel the stirrings jealousy, Dirk and Autumn are hesitant to recognize it for what it really is. But when things finally change in a fiery explosion of pent up energy, the issue of Autumn's side gig as Ramona threatens to put a real damper on their relationship. The couple eventually earns their happy ending.

Dirk and Autumn's story is light and sweet with a dose of humor and steam. It is well-written. The plot is fairly simple. The characters are nicely developed. It is written in first person. The POV alternates between Dirk and Autumn. I rate this book four stars.

As for the Audio: it is nicely performed.

Enjoyable

This was an enjoyable, funny and steamy story. Loved the duo narration but was not a fan of the switching of voices. Each narrator took a chapter and did the voices of the characters, it kind of threw it off for me.

A Delightful Surprise

This book was a pleasant surprise. I didn’t know what to expect since this is a first for me by this author but I ended up really enjoying it. The story made me laugh out loud, cry and smile. I found myself Contemplating Autumn’s insecurity and really appreciating the author for her handling of the topic BBW so wonderfully. We women are too hard on us and each other for sure. I loved the female narrator however the male narrator sort of ruined the pleasure of the book. As a female he was awful. If the story wasn’t good I would have given up. The female narrator was spot on. Overall so worth listening to this!

Awesome!

I loved this book!! The story was amazing and I will def be looking for more from this author. The narration was okay but the male narrator definitely might want to change his female tone. Every female sounded like a whiney nasally valley girl.

I could and will listen to this allover again! ❤️❤️

I just finished this on audio. This story seems to get better every time I listen or reread it. I find a few things I have missed plus the added bonus of someone reading it to me adds more depth to the story. These two narrators did a wonderful job! Alexander...I loved the different voices and you NAILED Graham. He sounded exactly like I thought he would.

I loved this story! Dirk well I really disliked Dirk at the beginning with his well practiced smile and wink. So cocky! Maybe because I was Inside his head or just because of his womanizing ways. Getting his thoughts wasn’t always pleasant but it did let me see his confusion and transformation. I thought there would be no redemption for this man. Shockingly this guy was able to turn my thoughts around. I really really liked him by the end of the story.

Autumn is someone a lot of people can identify with. She portrays herself one way but deep inside she harbors insecure thoughts. She isn’t Barbie Doll perfect but she is smart, sassy and has wit. She has a great personality and I loved getting to know her. I do want to mention that she has a fascination with hermit crabs that was delightful. She loves life!

I really enjoyed this book. I usually am not a huge fan of billionaires trope. This one didn’t smash it in my face and Dirk just seemed like any other guy. This is a fun, smart and gave me a few chuckles along with some “did that just happen” faces. Andrea Smith does a wonderful job keeping me interested and her stories seem to have a natural flow to them.

Funny , Steamy

This story by Andrea Smith is hilarious. Dirk and Autumn 's banter is so much fun to listen to. Many laugh out loud moments. " Crabs , crabs, why didn't you tell me you have crabs!" Do I need to see a doctor?" Lol , Autumn had hermit crabs for pets. but that misinterpretation was so funny. Add in some drama, hot sex, and fun. I was laughing with tears.😂😂😂. . Gabrielle and Alexander Cendese are phenomenal narrators.Their abilities to keep up with this fast paced book, all the different characters and voices, made this a very enjoyable story to listen to. I was gifted this audiobook and offering my honest review.

1+900 📞 Phone Sex BFF’s

Okay, this was a cute and fun listen and a lot of credit goes to Team Cendese, married actors Alexander and Gabrielle Miller. A lot of talent there! Gabrielle pulls off a southern drawl as Autumn portrays Ramona, a 900 sex voice for extra cash. An interesting repeat client who wants nothing more than to talk ends up being her boss, who is dating her sister Summer. There are a lot of laughs and a HEA for everyone. Good Times had by all -LOL

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. My review is HONEST.
Two Thumbs UP!  👍🏻👍🏻

Hilarious

All of me is a well-written, witty, laugh-out-loud funny story; I thoroughly enjoyed it. Our heroine is a big and beautiful phone sex operator that dreams of becoming a radio host. Finally, she gets her big break, and the dream job she always wanted with a swoon-worthy Dirk Sexton as her boss. The only thing is, Dirk's voice sounds really familiar; I think you can guess the rest.

Excellent dual narration by Alexander Cendese and Gabrielle Cendese, bringing the characters to life. All of Me was a fabulous listen, I loved the characters and dialogue. I strongly recommend this audiobook.

Wonderful RomCom & Narration🎧 A Heartfelt Delight!

I loved everything about this book, from Andrea Smith’s wonderful writing style to the storylines and characters she created. I must say it is great to see another side of Andrea Smith, sure she has included and nailed humor in some of her other novels but she takes humor to a whole different level here and it is RomCom at its best and not to be missed. I love how realistic and relatable her characters and storylines are, also love how well she balances humor, lightheartedness with realism of every day life for some. She does this without making light or fun of anything or anyone. I adored, Autumn, she is smart and full of personality. It took me awhile to warm to Dirk Sexton, a typical player, he redeems himself once he gets past his shallow ways. I loved the whole premise of this book, loved how well plotted it is, there is never a dull moment, with plenty of drama, angst, great humor and witty dialogue, some heartfelt moments and a buildup to a wonderful romance. Andrea Smith, thank you for this wonderful story, the laughs and the emotional roller coaster ride.

I listened to the Audible edition, Alexander & Gabrielle Cendese are talented narrators and voice artists. They bring these characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they captured the emotions of the characters and projected it into their performance. They also did an amazing job with the witty dialogue nailing the humor without missing a beat. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this wonderful listen🎧
