About this listen

What if one impulsive decision could alter the trajectory of your life?

An unexpected night of passion leads to a life-altering decision, but Marissa's world shatters when her best friend is tragically killed in action. Just as she begins navigating the complexities of single motherhood, a new and unsettling twist plunges her into a bitter legal battle with a grieving relative, forcing Marissa to confront hidden truths and face a devastating choice.
As buried secrets emerge and loyalties fracture, Marissa finds herself ensnared in a web of deceit, where every choice she makes could destroy the truth—and everything she thought she knew changes in the silence of a passing second.

"Changing Hearts: In A Father’s Footsteps" is a gripping family mystery that delves into the murky waters of love, loss, and the lengths a family will go to protect what matters most.

If the emotional intensity of Jodi Picoult’s "My Sister’s Keeper" captivated you," you won’t be able to put down Marissa's suspense-filled journey in "Changing Hearts". Dive into this riveting tale of courage, betrayal, and the fight for justice before the story takes its next twist!

Virtual reader

My second book with same virtual reader. I love audio books because it’s like a movie with me providing the appearance of each character.
I struggle to accomplish that with virtual reader. Huge negative distraction for me.

Afterlife

I liked the settings and story line. Virtual voice needs French update (buffet as in buffay), and the author needs to check meaning of crocodile tears. These were actually funny, and I did enjoy the story.

The story was captivating since the beginning

I did not like the virtual voice narrating the book. It would have helped if a male voice would have read the male parts

Using only one voice ruined the experience

The story is original and meaningful but could not stand the narrator. I ended up reading the book

Digital reading

The digital reading was terrible! The story was bland. Glad it was free. Not recommended.
