About this listen

One woman. Two men. One meddling small town.

Raised by her older sister in the small town of Blueberry Springs, all Beth Wilkinson wants is to create a family so big she’ll never be alone. Things are going great until her fiancé, Oz, rethinks everything from his own career to their nuptial plans—forcing Beth to do the same.

As Beth works to rediscover herself in hopes of reattracting Oz, she catches the eye of the charming new city doctor, Nash. Not only does he see her as she’d like to be seen, but he knows exactly what he wants from life—and that includes Beth.

Torn between the two men, as well as two versions of herself, Beth discovers that love and dreams are much more complicated than they seem.

Home is where the heart is

What do you do when you love someone and then everything possible just goes wrong and your life goes to hell?
This is what this book is about and it tells the story what two people do to try and make sense of it all.
It is beautifully written by Jean Oram and Chris Dukehart does a jolly good job of narrating it.
I highly recommend this book/audiobook - it has been an easy read and listen and I found it a most enjoyable experience.

awesome

Would you consider the audio edition of Champagne and Lemon Drops to be better than the print version?

I love Audiobooks because the books come to life. Cris did an awesome job with that.

Any additional comments?

I am the girl who loves a little humor with my romance. This book has that and more. Add a little sex appeal, two handsome guys both trying to win the heart of one girl, the small town feel and the book is simply Charming. I had reviewed on amazon already but to be honest, I loved the audio even more because it all came to life. Love it!!!

fantastic

Even better than reading the book. The narrators voice got on my nerves to begin with but I find this with every audio book I listen to as it takes a bit of getting used to before you get lost in the story. Jean you are great :)

Fantastic

Absolutely fantastic!! Great characters and a great storyline make this a book you don't want to miss. We get to know the folks of Blueberry Springs, specifically Beth Wilkinson who is looking for her happily ever after. If the next book is as good as this one Jean Oram will have a place on my must read list.

Roller coaster of emotions

A few laughs. A few tears. A lot of frustration. This book runs the gamut. A wonderful story. Something a little different and refreshing.

Highly recommend and loved having it read to me.

I enjoyed this story book town. Jean did a wonderful job having Beth explain it so you felt like you were there and could see it through her eyes. Oz and Nash both frustrated me, yet again throw Beth in there too. Oz kept giving Beth mixed signals and Beth was always in love with him. Nash was good for her and I think to some degree she loved him but I can't see she would ever get over him to be a true wife for Nash. They wanted the same yet different thing she was a city buy true and true. She was a country bumpkin and would always be even though she loved what Nash was making her experience. He made her spread her wings. I think the narrator did a great job with the book and keep me interested. I listened to it in one sitting. I'm just confused with the ending since there really wasn't a closure with Nash and a real beginning with OZ.
