Love the setting most of all!

Enjoyable read

I really enjoyed this book. It had a good story and no gratuitous sex. As a matter of fact, there was a couple of budding romances, but nothing beyond that. Just a good story about the family we make for ourselves. I can't wait to read the next story!

Cute, innocent romance. A good “palate-cleanser” to read between more stressful books. Makes me want to move to Florida!

The true tranquility of the island

My husband and I have been to Sanibel three times. it is our favorite place to vacation. I loved reading about all the places we go to while we are there. the story line was so realistic. All the twists and turns really brought me into the story. I can't wait to read the next one.

Whisked me away!

I really enjoyed this easy beach read. The setting brings you right in and the story lines keep you interested in finding out what’s next. I’m hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next book. Beach book readers put this on your TBR!

I love the Narrator!

The story is not something I usually try and get involved in, a series in general is not usually my cup of tea. I am going to give the next book a try and see if this is something I can get into more. just seems like the typical wish I could move away and start somewhere fresh story.

The new age attitudes of the central character stood out the most and for this Evangelical Christian was a serious eye-roll.

I liked the ending with a predictable conclusion, however the narration was so annoyingly breathy and never let up almost made me turn it off.

Good character development of Teddie and Olivia.

Somewhat sappy and cheesy. Condescending characterization, almost childish style. The last 6 or 7 chapters were the best plot development. I’ll probably listen to the other books. Sanibel doesn’t have a boardwalk, just lots of bike paths.
