The new age attitudes of the central character stood out the most and for this Evangelical Christian was a serious eye-roll.

I liked the ending with a predictable conclusion, however the narration was so annoyingly breathy and never let up almost made me turn it off.

Good character development of Teddie and Olivia.

Somewhat sappy and cheesy. Condescending characterization, almost childish style. The last 6 or 7 chapters were the best plot development. I’ll probably listen to the other books. Sanibel doesn’t have a boardwalk, just lots of bike paths.

Sweet And Surprising!

Second series by this author that I’ve ventured into and I’m glad to find the storyline was Not predictable! Grew up visiting Sanibel so I love hearing all about the setting.

Love the setting most of all!

Great read. Excited for the remaining collection. So enjoy that they are based in Sanibel.

This book is so interesting has romance intrigue. I can’t wait to read the next one in the series. The narrator did a wonderful job

I enjoyed one of Holloway’s “Keys”novels, so I thought this might provide a relaxing story with a beach setting. It did!
The characters are well developed, and the storyline holds the listener’s interest.
The author uses some vulgar language, but it seems to be character specific.
The narrator is breathy and borderline sensual. But overall, the novel is filled with descriptive beach imagery.

It was fun to listen to a story set in one of my favorite places. I liked that the characters were multi-generational.

If you like to read a sweet, uncomplicated stories this book is for you. No violence, no real sadness, just a like Sanibel island magical.

I’m so excited to get through this series to see who ends up with who and how it all works out.
