Story
Kidnappers grabbed Jenna in broad daylight, right in front of her children and their horrified classmates. Her family was issued an insane ransom demand: $25 million in cash and jewels, payable by the end of the school day, otherwise they’ll never see her again. As Jenna’s mother scrambles to gather the money, detectives Mo Butler and George Ortega follow the trail of the kidnappers, which will lead them through a sordid landscape of jealous lovers, broken dreamers, and twisted schemers. But every second counts, and there’s one thing Jenna Wade doesn’t have: very much time.

It was 1970 in a defeated Rhode Island fishing town. Vietnam and Nixon dominated the national news. Both the near and distant future looked bleak. But they were five inseparable high school friends with something incredible in common: an unwavering resolve to look after each other no matter what hell life threw at them. And they were on a mission. The plan was simple: Go off the grid before they turned 18 to avoid the draft. They’d sell some grass, stack some cash, then head west and start a commune. What could possibly go wrong?

Story
A forced proximity, age gap romance between a damaged ex-military hero and the curvy girl who hooks his heart. She’s too young, too innocent and too damn happy… But I can’t get the quirky, curvy Hailey out of my head. When she’s forced to spend a night in my cabin, she’ll find out just how damaged I am. I faced the enemy in Iraq, but it’s nothing compared to the raw vulnerability I feel when Hailey holds my heart in her hands. Can she see past the scars, the limp, and the age gap, or was it pity that brought her to my bed? Loved by the Mountain Man is a forced proximity, ex-...

Good story, needs to be read by a real person.
The story was good enough to keep me listening in spite of the awful reading done by the computer.

Compelling story!
Storyline. Dialogue was great. Type of story where you know what the main character us thinking and planning where the author is not trying to trick you with cheap surlrises.
