A Wonderful book

I am truly in love with Anna Zaires’s writing. It’s very descriptive to the point you actually feel as if you’re part of the journey. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I fell in love with Lucas and Yulia. Where have these books been all my life?

loved the sequel!

I enjoyed this series as much as Twisted! They have Lucas to be the next one out of the Twisted series I couldn't be more excited about it. I loved all the twists and turns and all of the turmoil that Yulia and Lucas went through. I recommend this to any and everyone that loves to read romance novels. And I'll also like how they brought back Julian and Nora into the sequel.

Ummm... Not what I expected...

... I honestly didn't really care for Yulia existing in this book series. I'd have to admit that Anna Zaires is an amazing writer (one of my favorites), and she wrote this trilogy in an intelligent and very creative light. I like getting that glimps into Lucas character and from his point of view, but what in the world... what about Rosa!?

I though he was gonna end up with Rosa based off how Twist Me ended with Rosa still being interested in him and Nora knowing and supporting that. I was hoping to get that sense of "awww i knew they were gonna be together" closure. I thought my prediction was right. Well, Anna Zaires really can be unpredictable and ruthless writer. Like, remember when she killed off Beth!

When she brought him that soup... AWW she was so sweet and cute and nice and obviously into him and he knew that!
I'm really sad and bitter about this. Idk im only in the middle of the first book, but I just have to say this is all I'm thinking right now.

I'm trying to stay into this trilogy. I'm trying to like Yulia even though she stressed Nora out to death from Julian being in the plane crash and killed a lot of Julian's men and dang near killed Julian and Lucas and lets not forget her being in the way of Rosa and Lucas possibly being together.

-p.s. don't give a crap that she started off 18 and him way older... obviously she still an adult and dark romances about illegal activies.... duhhh!!! If I was 18-- I would f*ck the f*ck out of Julian crazy ass. I love him!

Anywho, the narration was great. I don't care for the accent thing, but I guess it would've been a nice touch.

Another Amazing Story

LOVED this story! I was so sucked in the whole time! Pausing the story for anything annoyed me, I just wanted to keep the story going. Honestly, I was so sucked into the story it was hard for me to want to go back to reality.

I read 3 of her trilogies, they are great stories with men that are waiting for that special someone to rescue them from the past

“Captured” by the story

While listening to the Twisted series, by Anna Zaires, we were introduced to Lucas Kent & Yulia Tzakova. The Capture Me series includes “scenes” from the Twist Me series, only from Lucas Kent’s & Yulia’s POV.
Though the world of Lucas Kent and Julian Esguerra is violent, and sometimes cruel, this book gave additional insight into their characters, especially Lucas’s. As the Captured series progressed, Yulia made an observation about Lucas. He is a warrior. He was born to fight.
This is a dark romance, though not quite as dark as the Twisted series. The activities of these type of people are very harsh. It’s not a world most people are familiar with but it is a world that exists. Considering all that, I had to give it five stars because it was well written and the story kept me riveted. Why was I fascinated? Probably the same reason other people are fasciated with the Darkside of humanity. We don’t want to see it, we don’t even want to know it exists but we can’t totally turn our heads away from it.

Exciting yet frustrating

This is in no way me saying I’m a better writer than Anna with my review. I really enjoy her dark style of writing. I loved the dark romance in the Twist Me trilogy, but this trilogy comes in second. After reading some reviews, I think I’m the only one who was frustrated by the lack of communication between Lucas and Yulia. How could neither yell out in their anger brother/lover and save me so much angst. LOL I completely understand why the plot needed this but it was killing me. I had hoped Julian and Nora would’ve been told about Yulia’s background by Lucas and they could all become couple friends. Here’s hoping it evolves in the next trilogy. I thought the narrators did a fantastic job. Looking forward to Peter’s story.

I definitely enjoyed this book. It kept me well entertained. It's good. Looovvved it. Try it.
