My first book, it was amazing!!

This was my first book by Patrick Logan and WOW! He hit it out of the park. I couldn’t put it down. I both read and listened to it. Planning on getting the rest of this series and trying some of his other genres too.

predictable

the plot was a little predictable. the twist wasn't enough to make me rush out for the 2nd book. and the narrator had weird inflections and his attrmpt at accents failed in my opinion... at least I could distinguish between characters so I have heard worse!

Good but not the level of Grisham or Patterson

We listened on a road trip. Ok but nothing to recommend. I like Brad Thor and Vince Flynn

Great book! Michael Pauley is the best narrator, his voice drags you into the story & you can't stop listening!

Butterfly Kisses

The story was great. I have mixed feelings about the narrator. Much of the time his voice was very robotic. Almost sounded system generated which was not appealing. At times it sounded natural which was good.

Intense and scary

This is a fabulous thriller, and one that I'm simply couldn't stop listening. The plot is original and well-thought, and the writing great.

A new favourite author, no doubt about it.

And Michael Pauley's reading is perfect, adding to the intensity of the story and making this a very recommend audiobook.

Great first book in series

Really liked the characters and plot. Half way through the second book and it is even better!

took a bit to get used to

I struggled at first with a narrator as he is almost overly excited in his voice and his reading... But I got used to him and I really enjoyed the story and characters of this book my only struggle again, was the narrator but he grows on you. I just finished this book and and purchasing the next one in the series very good story!

Thrilling Serial Killer Novel

Butterfly Kisses was a good serial killer novel. I thought the story was laid out nicely with good pacing. The character development was fair - could have used more. Overall it kept my attentions and Michael Pauley's narration really brought the story and characters to life. I look forward to more from this Author & Narrator

This book is sooo good and I was very entranced in the mystery, the life of the detective, the interactions with the main characters, and the unfolding of the story. Great characters, wonderful plot, good suspense, and loved the narrator! This was a well rounded mystery, suspense, detective, thriller book. Thankful for the free book and and the wonderful read!
