Loved it!

Ravi and Az... loved their story and the pace of this book was just right. I love this series, Neva Altaj did an amazing job with this couple. It's a slow burn but oh so 🔥🔥🌶️🌶️when they finally got together, the way they got together was a bit tricky since she is technically married but with this one, it kind of works. Alessandro is one protective hero, I think all of Neva's heroes are protective and love their women the moment they meet them without knowing it. The story was great. Now I can't wait for the next one Drago and Sienna.

Bodyguard and the Mafia Wife

Burned Dreams is the 7th book in the Perfectly Imperfect series. Ravenna was won in a poker game, and forced to be in an abusive relationship. Alessandro is out for revenge after his wife was killed by a drunk driver 8 years earlier, and he became Ravenna’s bodyguard in order to kill her and her husband, the man that killed Alessandro’s wife. He slowly realized that not only is Ravenna is a victim as much as his late wife to Rocco’s vile behavior, but also he was in love with his enemy’s wife. This book was messy and had mafia conflict on page, but Ravenna and Alessandro were fire together. Their chemistry was palpable. He taught her self defense and was so possessive over her that he killed anyone who knew of Rocco’s abuse and did nothing to stop it. Ravenna was a strong character. She was actively planning to get away from her husband when Alessandro came into the picture. Alessandro was the one who fought his feelings, because of his vow for revenge. The character growth was good. The plot was fantastic, and the romance was perfectly written for the character’s motivations and trauma. 4.5 stars ⭐️

Revenge Romance

I liked this book better than the reviews made it sound. Ravenna was forced into marriage, and each beating broke her confidence down. She had character development at the end. Alessandro was driven by revenge for his ex-wife. I was into his back-and-forth inner monologue. He finally came around. I'm ready for Silent Lies now.
