Scarlet is the Queen

I absolutely love Scarlet. I don’t think anyone gives her enough credit, but she’s such a strong capable woman, and everything she went through to get to where she is was heartbreaking! I love the Kingston’s siblings and their text threads!

Cade is the best single dad, and the way he fights for Scarlet and Brynn is amazing!

The only confusing part is rereading this after going into the second generation book and getting Brynn’s story, her wedding doesn’t match the epilogue to this story!

The importance of family and Unconditional Love.

I love this combination of books, that Mary the different relationships together friends, and family sweater all about.

LOVE Scarlett's story!

We finally get the story behind this terrifying woman we've seen glimpses of in the other books - Scarlett. I love seeing a strong FMC and actually love that Scarlett doesn't put up with any BS. I enjoyed seeing her story with Cade and omg Brynlee is the cutest little kid! That epilogue had me tearing up, along with a few other parts of this book too!

Absolutely the best love story!!! This was a fabulous story definitely hope there will be more coming about the other characters in the story the narrator’s were fabulous the author did such a wonderful job building the characters I fell in love with all of them

I love Scarlet

I have been obsessed with Scarlet Kingston since she showed up in the Kroydon Hills world. She is the ultimate female main character. She rules in a world mostly controlled by men and makes no apologies for who she is. Getting to see her more vulnerable side was beautiful. I loved going to the past and seeing how she and Cade made it to where they are. There is definitely some pain they have to fight through. He is truly a Saint (pun intended) with her. They have a beautiful love story!

Scarlet And Cade Are Everything!

Scarlet and Cade's story is about two stubborn equals coming together. As vice president of the Philadelphia Kings football team, Scarlet is feared by men around her. Former MMA champion Cade now trains fighters in the sport. Things get interesting after their one night together, and they can no longer avoid each other due to their Vegas souvenir. Sparks naturally start to fly between two sexy people who spend a lot of time together, blurring the lines. To stay together long term, they must confront the feelings that have always existed and their past. I couldn't stop listening; I finished Broken King in a day! This book's emotional backstory drew me in, and I cheered for them to figure things out finally!!!

The talented Joe Arden and Lucy Rivers didn't disappoint! Joe Arden is the perfect narrator for Cade. He nails all aspects of Cade personality -- confident alpha but still vulnerable, caring, protective, and supportive. Rivers conveys Shannon's hesitation to get involved with Cade despite her longing for the only man that she has ever loved. Together, Arden and Rivers bring us the fiery passion and intensity that is Scarlet and Cade! It was a wonderful listen!!!
