Great but could use WAAAAAYYYY less whine...
This has a great premise. I love the character development. The system is a cool take compared to other of the same genre.
The only complaint is the 10s of minutes of whining.... The whining over the haves and have nots. Ok I agree as a have not I can relate but man 10 minute stints of prose of saying the same thing over and over again... by god... just stfu. Life is never fair.... just grit bare and move on.
Oh another small pet peeve is his Simpfest towards Alice and even Sue (he gets laid once and he is crying because this that or the other.... sigh)

Story Line
Just overall satisfied with this Audio Books ability to capture a true zero to hero feel. I wish the second, third, and fourth books were already on audible.

amazing!
One of the best listens I've had in a really long time, full of twists and turns and edgier seat action. I wish this was a movie 🍿

Narrator voice reminds me of like the LitRPG version of R.C. Bray so deff enjoyed it!

Good Read

great in all aspects
Thiis is a book I was unsure of because of the deal and long length of it I thought it would be sub par in most if not all areas. boy was I wrong. It has a great narrators that keep you interested and on the edge of your seat even during stat reading which are thankfully rare. great story. I look forward to the next book. It's a great value.

could have been good
I wanted to like this one but just couldn't I really struggled to finish it mostly I think it was the narrator idk IV never really liked this guy but it didn't help that the MC was straight up cringe sometimes if I had to hear about 200lb crossbows one more time I was gonna lose it he sounded like a boomer in the gun store talking about the 1911 and 2 world wars
