Really a great start, well crafted and narrated.

First of all, there are so many formulaic works of fiction out there that can be called Science Fiction. But this is really refreshing.

Story develops at a good pace, not too fast, not too slow, the AI supporting characters are well thought and unique. A robot bird??? But, I LIKE IT!! oops, see now, I’ve gone and capitalized that. But if you want to have a nice unique story which appears to have sequels, give it a go!

Country living is awesome!!

The sorrowful loss of Van 's grandfather he inherits his farm. But the farm is not the focus here, it's the barn. When Van pushes the button the story begins. Lots of adventures and new friendships.
Very beautiful story. Awesome narration as well.

great sci Fi space adventure.

looking forward to the continuation of the series. pre-ordered book 2 before even finishing book 1

great fun story

A great story that made me think of some of the older space adventure stories but new and shiny. Non stop action and adventure

got me from the start

Very enjoyable sci-fi fantasy. catchy story and fun, I caught myself laughing out loud several times. Would recommend to any one attracted to the genre.

Not Epic, But Damn Good Fun

Any book that can make me laugh out loud or shed a tear is A plus on my list.
Caught myself laughing many times. Not what I would call "Epic", but if you want a fun story and some good fun go for it.
Kafer is perfect person for this books narration, he hits the notes just right.

A Great Science Fiction Story Mixed with Comedy

I have to say that this was a great science fiction story with some really good humor thrown in. The narration was done well and kinda reminded me of some of the old time type radio stories. I definitely suggest this to anyone to likes a good space adventure and will definitely be diving into other books in this series!!

Great but short

Great story, Great narrator...just short. characters were well made and story wasn't constantly easy to guess.

There better be a lot more books in this series

I loved everything about this book and the performance. Great characters, well developed. Set in an interesting universe based on a delightful premise. I want to see the movie, and all the sequels. The only negative thing about it is the knowledge that at some point I'll read the last one in the series.

I heard great things but once again the narrator draws you in! I'll definitely be buying book 2!
