A nice page turner and twist

I wasn’t too sure what the ending would bring but such a great page turner!

Excellent! Easy listening, couldn’t stop listening. Great ending . Definitely look for more books from this author.

GREAT STORY AND NARRATION

This author was new to me, I will be reading other books written by her, for sure. I, literally, couldn’t put it down. The pressure building within the story, ran through me as I listened, trying to solve the case, in my mind, with the minimal leads and dead ends. The narration only added to the suspense, her voice calm and soothing in the midst of panic and chaos. Each character was easily discernible and well defined. Take a chance on this one, you won’t regret it.

Outstanding thriller

Amazing book that starts from the very first chapter and keep your attention relentlessly until the conclusion. It’s my introduction to the author, and I will definitely be picking up more of her work based on this listen.

Suspenseful and surprising ending

It was fine, chapters helped with narrative changes . It’s nice when there is duet narration.

A bridge too far on character behavior

I read and listen to a lot of fiction. I believe this is my first Teresa Driscoll book. I listened to it. The narration was fine. The actions of all the primary characters, however, were often so unbelievable that they required way too much suspension of belief. I was going to list all the many instances where the author lost me but decided it was too much work. I almost stopped listening multiple times. So, save yourself the trouble. If you must listen to this book, do so only for the first chapters to get the gist of the plot. (BTW: this could’ve been a really good book without this fatal flaw, because the premise and set up were good.) Then skip to the last few chapters for the denouement. People don’t behave the way described, no matter the supposed trauma depicted in this book.

Good read

Author did a great job of maintaining the suspense. I enjoyed listening to the book.
