Enjoyable, a bit sappy

Not a bad setup, characters and story but did skip ahead some and didn’t miss much. The repetitive sisterly protection was too overdone, repeated nor childish even with her history. Also protagonist was a bit too modest while perhaps successful? Otherwise since it was her first in the series and a well enjoyed author, I’ll try more.

This is a well-written cozy mystery with engaging characters and an entertaining plot. I look forward to the next book.

A fresh start..... Murder?

Once again the author has written a beautiful world within to write about stocked full of great characters and possible ways of murder, with just a touch of possible romance. the Irish bookstore pulls you right in to the story and more. just like her Scottish Doctor and her community. Lucy is an instant good friend. would love to have a cuppa with her and her characters.

I see they’re been no reviews on this book and it certainly deserves one.

This is a cozy mystery about female twins in their 30s who move from a big US city to a quaint small town in Ireland. This town is so small that everyone knows each other’s business. They moved to Ireland to start over because of a broken relationship. Shortly after they arrive one of their neighbors dies (perhaps murdered?). One of the sisters is a mystery writer and is determined to determine the cause of her neighbors death.
The narration is excellent… actually could not be better.
The Story is a wee bit long. However, it is “cozy” and holds your interest.

Thoroughly enjoyable

Likable characters and intriguing storyline. I enjoyed it from start to finish. I recommend this to every cosy mystery lover.

Very slow, moving and kind of boring. Not a very complex storyline. Seemed kind of formulaic.

I now want to move to Ireland

I LOVE this book! From beginning to end it held my attention. I can't wait until the next one comes out.

Excellent cozy!

This is the first book by Connelly I've listened to, and it was very enjoyable. Just the right number of characters & suspects, and the author uses enough description of the people and location to make it easy to visualize. The killer & motive were a complete surprise. The narration was perfect with each American or Irish voice different & clearly individual. I look forward to the next book. Well done!

A very pleasant read

This was a nice soothing read with a touch of mystery. Worth the time to listen.
