I have read all of Scott Pratt's books in the Joe Dillard series and another of his books, Justice Redeemed. I found them entertaining and interesting. I really don't like the fact that I see only one person's rating when I'm browsing for a book -- perhaps it's the last posted rating. This book received one star by the last person, I guess, who rated it. That is very misleading. Unless you open it up and read the reviews, ONE review with one star ... well, that's just not indicative of the book's entertainment value. Sometimes when reading a bad review by certain readers, I know if they don't like it, I probably will. But that's because I have so many books and read so many reviews, I guess. Anyway, in my humble opinion, a one-star rating does not do this book justice.

terrific story kept interest throughout .. enganced by excellent narration.. the combo is right...hate the way amazon directs the review process

It was okay.

There wasn't enough court room drama for me and the narrator was very unemotional. I've read/listened to better legal thrillers.

Great read. It reminded me of a John Grisham novel very entertaining and well written.

Interesting twists& good character development - Quite Colorful

Fast pace, many intertwining lives. A bit seedy w vulgar language yet it added to the story. The audio narrator was perfect!

This has got everything. Humor, conflict, tragedy, cunning. just fabulous. I'm a late discoverer of this author and I'll be reading all in this series

I really enjoyed the storyline and narrator. I have never read or listened to a Scott Pratt book before and look forward to the next book.

Fascinating...good read!

This was not my usual type of book, I like more suspense, but I truly enjoyed this book. The people seemed real. Loved Areleen the owner of the strip bar...she was smart and hilarious.

What made the experience of listening to An Innocent Client the most enjoyable?

It's been a long time since I found a new good series that I really love. The writing, the twists, and the narration are truly wonderful. I read the reviews and that's what people said, and I listened and tried, and just finished book 1, and I enjoyed it very much. On to book 2!
