Publisher's summary

Only one woman makes him want to howl.

Amarok lives on a ranch in the boonies for a reason. Hundreds of acres where he can run four-legged and furry. But most of all, privacy.

What he wants doesn't stop a perky human from showing up at his door wanting to study the wildlife on his land.

He'd prefer to study her. Naked.

Utter madness. He's got secrets and a past he can't forget. He knows better than to risk it all on love. However, he can't resist her. Has to have her.

And when she's threatened, he'll do anything to protect her.

Contains mature themes.

Beavers and Wolves oh my!

What an adventure. Between the regular animals and the shifters this books has some fun things going on. The HEAT helps too. Enjoy

Okay-ish

This book had a decent storyline. I could have really liked it. However, I’ve never seen a wimpier female lead. She was dumb as a box of rocks. As a woman, I was so embarrassed by the way she was written. And it was written by a woman, making it even more humiliating

Pack Rules

Light enjoyable story that managed to hold my interest. Being fated mates can be a dangerous proposition! Characters demonstrate realistic sense of family
working together to face danger. As the action gains momentum so does the level of spice (mature themes).

Cute

I liked it. the Lexi Evans was good at voices but not my first choice for one of Eve Langlais's books. It felt like modern day young wolves

lol I couldn’t get over the voices

This book is good. It’s just the narration. The voices sound high and idiotic. Almost a time
Back to the movie clueless Lolol there was nothing sultry about it. You might get annoyed listening so it’s probably better reading it

Author’s dullest shifter offering yet

“I’d do anything for my beaver.”
As a fan of this author, especially her Kodiak Point series, I’ve got to say this was a huge disappointment. The humor was forced. The chemistry was nonexistent. The story was dull and depressing on Amarok’s side and flower-child silly on Meadow’s side.

“How soon can I play with my beaver?”
Worst was the nails on the chalkboard narration. The pacing was robotic. The men sounded like stoners. Meadow sounded like Scooby Doo’s danger prone Daphne, which was accurate considering how klutzy she was, not to mention how many times she ended up kidnapped or in danger. And the way
The Lykosium (the shifter high council) was pronounced grated on me so bad (LIE-koh-SEE-um).
Maybe that’s the correct pronunciation. I’m not convinced, seeing as she pronounced eschew as “askew.”
