About this listen

Do you want to finally learn how to behave with children with ADHD?

If you're dealing with ADHD children, your biggest concerns and frustrations deal with not knowing where to seek help and and how to support them during the phases of growth.

You may be asking, “Doesn’t this happen to all kids?” Yes, it happens; all kids lose focus and are hyperactive, especially when anxious or excited. However, ADHD children experience these behavioral disorders over a prolonged period of time and in different settings. Thus, ADHD limits a child’s ability to function socially, academically, and even at home.

This audio guide will give you a comprehensive idea of what ADHD is and how you can deal with children who suffer from it. It will provide you with simple tips and techniques on how ADHD, despite being a serious and complicated disorder, can be dealt with efficiently and properly. Awareness will help you get a grip on your frustration. When you know the triggers, you can prepare for them.

This audiobook covers:

  • Accepting your child’s ADHD
  • The ADHD advantages
  • Improving social skills
  • Behavior therapy techniques
  • Practices to improve listening skills
  • Effective methods to contrast behavioral challenges
  • Managing ADHD with the right nutrition
  • And much, much more!

Some parents may have trouble accepting the fact that their children got diagnosed with ADHD. It can be difficult to internalize, especially if you see your child as bright, active, and naturally curious. In some cases, parents may have a hard time figuring out when they can be firm and when to be patient. In this audiobook, you get to know the facts about ADHD and its very specific symptoms, strategies to better manage a child who has the disorder, and how to improve your behavior toward your child so that you can be adequately prepared parents.

Not what I thought it was

I am the mother of a teenage ADHD child, I am looking for a book that helps me navigate to where we’re at right now. I thought this book could give me insight and how to handle emotional behavior, and help me navigate through the middle school and high school years. I feel like this book is more like generalized information school type course, giving you insight on all different aspects diagnosing, How to look for signs etc. this book was not helpful to me

hard to keep my attention on the book

I struggled with this book to keep my attention but then again that could be the ADHD that I'm trying to learn about but that being said the reading of it was difficult the story of it was difficult it was very hard to not be distracted is all I can say.

Very helpful

This book was very helpful. It justified my experiences and helped me understand what I can and cannot change. While the overall topic is frustrating for those experiencing it I left this book with a better understanding of the direction we need to go.

Can’t make it through the narrator

I can only assume that this is through an automatic reader because of the tone of the narration. I’m sorry it’s just too irritating to listen to.

Better books available

I found the voice very annoying!

Books makes me realize I’m not alone. I didn’t like many of the ways to help kids with ADHD, especially mine with anxiety and mood disorders.

Hard to follow along

Hard to follow along. Very mono tone voice. I had to keep rewinding to figure out what was just said.

Very Technical and very very dry.

While informative, the combination of technical information and the monotone narration make for a very boring experience.

So so

I thought this book would give me fresh insight into ADHD. I have worked with children with ADHD most of my adult life. I have many classes and hands on training hours, yet this book gave no new approach or insight. A rehash of all other information. The author sounded like she was under the influence of something.

Great content, horrible narrator

I loved the content of the book, but the narrator makes it sooo boring! It’s like listening to the airline security playback. Hard to keep up.
