In 2036, a rapidly destabilizing climate culminated in a worldwide snowstorm that froze the entire planet. Billions are now dead due to starvation, disease, civil unrest, and the plummeting temperatures. What remains of humanity now live in small settlements or isolated makeshift villages, carving out miserable lives in this grim new reality.
Some, like Chris Weston, choose to travel among the vast winter wastelands between the bastions of civilization. In the aftermath of the great collapse, Chris finds himself strangely suited for this new world. the narration is tip top.
perhaps the best performance in this type of book I've ever heard. you can really sink your teeth into both the survival, and the action.

interesting story
this was an interesting story. however there's many times I wanted to just poke my eardrums out so I didn't have to listen to it anymore. There are so many stupid sections of it that I almost turned it off many times. The relationships between the people was decent. The narration was very good, not a problem determining voices for each person which is always nice. I don't think the author really understood how things worked. vehicles that run off electricity don't have engines that make loud noises but who can say what kind of strange tech there was then? Overall, I believe the story would have been better by being about half as long.

Perfect omnibus!
This great series all in one book is the best.
If you want a great harem apocalypse story to listen to for days, this is it.
Best deal on Audible.
MC is not a whining baby but a strong leader that has the roaming bug.
Lots of great characters and action. Taking out bad guys slavers and murderers along with wolves and weather that wants to kill everyone.
Great story and narration.
I give this book 8 out of 5 stars.
