truly one of the most hilarious and relatable fantasy series on audible. if you haven't read the other books by this author, do yourself a favor and pick them up.

absolutely entertaining from start to finish

J. Zachary Pike parody of A Christmas Caro is absolutely entertaining from start to finish. it is a great companion on a late December afternoon traveling to see one's family for the holidays. it's a great short story!

Very good take on an old tale

I drove right in after reading the first two in the dark profits saga. Excellent rendition and satire. I love the ability of the author to take something I know and turn it about 15° different. It was interesting to see into the origin story just a tiny bit for the two bankers that are so central in the saga. The narrator was excellent as well.

Funny and smart!

Loved this book and the narrators interpretation. It’s very well written, deliciously sarcastic and snarky.

funny take on a christmas carol

This was a fun fantasy take on A Christmas Carol, and apparently stars characters from another one of the authors series. It's not your typical redemption story, which was fun. Definitely satirical and a fast listen.

Fun Aarth "Christmas" Side Story

If you've read any of The Dark Profits Saga (and if you haven't, go buy them now. You'll thank me later), then you know how funny they are and how spot on Doug Tisdale's narration is. Those factors alone make this worth getting. If you're not familiar with Aarth and that whole society, suffice it to say that this is good fantasy story (this is a fantasy variation on Dickens' "A Christmas Carol") with a good dose of humor thrown in. Don't eat or drink while listening. You may find yourself choking from laughing. Definitely a good listen.

Fun side novel for the Dark Profit saga

Although you can enjoy this independently of the "Dark Profit saga" books, you'll enjoy it much more if you read those first. Orconomics and Son of a Lich are absolutely wonderful, and will help you be more familiar with the characters and setting here.

This is, as you likely guessed, a take on "A Christmas Carol" although it has a unique spin that matches perfectly with the thrust of the aforementioned novels.
