Loved this and will easily relisten. So much relatability to life and the relationship with God, that gets missed. I memorized the 23rd Psalm as a kid, but this opens up a new and fresh meaning to every line. Highly recommend.

The man who narrated the book could’ve been a Shepherd.

The author wrote this book with a pastor‘s heart, and with the experience of a shepherd with real sheep. And we humans are just like sheep. I’ve read the book but now I’ve listened to it. And I’m going to listen to it again because each time I hear it, there is more rich text to apply to my life and my heart.

The perfect book on God

I am so richly blessed by this book, I cannot express the gratitude I have for finding it! If I could recommend one book outside of God’s Holy Word, it would definitely be this one! Of the thousands of books I have read this one takes them all hands down! Please read, or listen to it, best choice you will ever make if you want to know Jesus, who He is, and what He means when He says “I have loved you with an everlasting love.”

a little deeper

This sheds amazing light on this particular scripture. I have often watched the flock of sheep that we have come clean up our field every year in the fall and I used to think what a boring job this Shepherd has, to just watch the sheep all day. I never fathomed what an immense responsibility this actually is. I now very much appreciate his job. I'm beginning to realize just how amazing our God really is. And if we would just slow down a little bit and even briefly stop to take and look a little deeper, we would be amazed at what he has for us.

Reading this is most assuredly a benefit to anyone who does so. I have and will be letting others know about it! I saw that someone said it should be read, annually. I agree!
