the most incredible love story you will ever read

this is one of the most beautiful love stories you will ever come across, in more ways than one. The narrator was wonderful and really reminded me of what I imagine the author sounding like. I loved this book and was so sad that it was over. I even drug out the last 45 minutes over a few days because I didn't want it to end. Amazing book

Need a new voice reader

Book was excellent. Reader too staccato. I wish a more legato reader was used. Other than that, so thoughtful toward the end.

Fascinating Memoir Filled with Both Joy and Pain

I was fascinated by Sheldon and Davey's love story and their conversion to Christ. I loved the inclusion of letters of counsel from C.S.

A beautiful book

This book will stay with me for a long time. This is an unhurried read, one you will want to take in slowly.

Sehnsucht

Beautiful and severe. Ethereal and harsh. A great, indeed, penultimate, love that ultimately leads to the Author of love.

Moving...wonderful

I wasn’t sure what to expect and boy was I pleasantly surprised! The philosophical musings are deep and well worth pondering. This is a wonderful account of deep love, deep loss, and even deeper mercy. The reader had a nice voice and did well.

Beautiful, Classic and Compelling

While the majority of this story is autobiographical of a unique life and mind, the r ally compelling parts revolve around his conversion and his conversations with CS Lewis. I feel he has given me permission to consider all things and to be wrong in pursuit of truth. I so appreciate the vulnerability and authenticity within which he made us privy to his life with his wife and friends. It is honestly a MUST READ.

Beautiful

A remarkable story, and I can’t stop thinking of people who I need to send this book to. I was also enraptured by the letters from CS Lewis.
