About this listen

Every prince has his secrets. And she’s determined to unravel his....

Every young man in London's ton is vying for Lady Caroline Hawke's hand - except one.

Handsome roué Prince Leopold of Alucia can't quite remember Caroline's name, and the insult is not to be tolerated. So Caroline does what any clever, resourceful lady of means would do to make sure Leo never again forgets: sees that scandalous morsels about his reputation are printed in a ladies' gossip gazette...all while secretly setting her cap for the rakish royal.

Someone has been painting Leo as a blackguard, but who? Socially, it is ruining him. More important, it jeopardizes his investigation into a contemptible scheme that reaches the highest levels of British government. Leo needs Lady Caroline's help to regain access to society. But this charming prince is about to discover that enlisting the deceptively sweet and sexy Lady Caroline might just cost him his heart, his soul, and both their reputations....

Slow

I had trouble getting through this book. The story was slow, the ending abrupt, and the main characters were difficult to sympathize with. I was really disappointed because book one in this series was so much fun to read.

A Great Sequel!

Caro and Prince Leo were made for each other! Caroline is a strong willed social butterfly who would rather make dresses than get married to a man that doesn't see past her looks or her dowry. Prince Leo is a quiet, caring man that has come to realize his days of idling about are no longer to his taste, and that sometimes reputations must be ruined to right a wrong. When they join forces (after so many half-truths and withheld information), the two stubborn love birds find a way save the day.

A Royal Kiss and Tell is everything you could want from a historical romance: aheroine who knows what she wants, a hero with a rakish reputation and a heart of gold, and an intriguing mystery with old friends that turn into new enemies. Julia London has created a slow burn that hits the reader right in the feels. The characters have depth, the plot flows nicely, and Honeycutt's Gazette offers lovely advice for ladies 😉

Boring

Boring . very slow to start with
no interesting plot and the dialogue seems intended to be funny but doesn’t achieve it .The heroine is quite painful , very immature and the hero is uninteresting with no obvious attractions . I tried listening twice but it was too tedious to continue.
