Princes have pomp and glory - not crushes on commoners

Nothing gets the tongues of London’s high society wagging like a good scandal. Her unapologetic gossip gazette has benefited from an anonymous tip about the crime, prompting Sebastian to take an interest in playing detective - and an even greater interest in Eliza.

With a trade deal on the line and mounting pressure to secure a noble bride, there’s nothing more salacious than a prince dallying with a commoner. Sebastian finds Eliza’s contrary manner as frustrating as it is seductive, but they’ll have to work together if they’re going to catch the culprit. And when things heat up behind closed doors, it’s the prince who’ll have to decide what comes first - his country or his heart.

Would have preferred a female narrator.

I prefer that a female should read. Too bad that 2 narrators were not used to read this book. To many characters for one reader to sound so different.

The female voices were a bit tricky to much

The story was good, but the voice of the females were not good. Pls chg narrators or add a female to read the female parts

Hero’s voice bleh, BUT…

Beck or Leopold’s voice would have made an improvement. Still, I am imaginative and don’t need females for females and vice versa. I liked the story. I always like a girl makes good story and this was no exception.

Don’t listen to the haters.

They have no taste in audiobooks and they’re just jealous because you’re good at your job

I agree about the male narrator. Still easy to listen too though. I’m just starting the second book.

I absolutely loved this book the only thing I didn’t like was the steamy sex scenes but I was able to fast forward those otherwise very good book

Don't use male narrators for female voices

I've enjoyed other books by Julia London but couldn't get past the first few chapters because of narrator & long stupid descriptions. Waste of credit

Silly. Very long and too many unnecessary details.

Silly. Long and too many unnecessary details. Boring. I kept skipping chapters in hope that it will get better but it never did. I bought it on sale for $5 and still not worse it.
