A Royal Inconvenience

Five years ago, Kayla Hopper and Prince Arkin Aubosson of Sigotta were patients, along with their spouses, at the same fertility clinic. She is now divorced, and the prince is a widower. A mix-up comes to light, revealing he is the father of her twins. Kayla suggests the only sensible option, a marriage of convenience, but wonders if she can maintain a strictly platonic relationship with the handsome prince, who is still mourning his first wife. Being the wife of the prince is even harder than trying not to fall in love with him when Kayla becomes the target of kidnappers trying to remove her from the royal family permanently.

Narration was very bad!

The story and writing was very good. Unfortunately, the narrator was horrible. I'm not sure if this was the first narration she has ever done but it was not smooth. She had to reread a lot, but it was not edited out of the narration. It was like they didn't listen to it before they started selling the audio.

Good story marred by poor read

I liked the story and characters a lot. But the narration was really poor. There were multiple glitches which I've never heard in an audible title before.
Shame.

Boo to the narration

Liked the story, however the narrator was horrible. She stumbled over words, reread when mistakes were made, and other sounds could be heard.
Why wasn’t this edited first?

sweet romantic

I enjoyed the story immensely. I chose 5 stars for the story because I like the flow and story. The narration is a 1 maybe a 2 and explained further on in the review which gave an overall 3 star for the audio. This was picked up because I thought it would be different and light. It was that and more. It wasn't erotic, but something that brings dreams of being a princess with some reality. The main characters had heart and growth throughout creating a full bodied story. I wish I had this in a book format however. The narrator was horrible. Her voice was nice and pleasant but there were many errors from breaths and pauses to re-readings that were not edited out. It made me think I was reading out loud from and inexperienced reader. If the narration was edited I would have enjoyed this more. Before I condemn the narrator I will listen to another story she narrates and hopefully the things that made this a stop and go story will be corrected and it will be a smooth listen.

Good Story, Editing Problems

The story itself was good, not too deep but entertaining nonetheless, and the narrator was good. However, there were quite a few problems with the editing and repetition.

I loved the story, but I was disappointed by the amount of errors/restarts to the story telling.

narration needs to be edited.

i struggled ti finish this book because of the unedited narration. stops and restarts of the book made it hard to listen to but i wanted to hear the rest of the story.

AWFUL narration

I tried to give it a try but OH MY WORD. Did anyone listen to this before releasing it? I am embarrassed for the author. While the story isn't bad, the narration made it extremely difficult to stay until the end. I am tagging this narrator so I will skip any book she records.

I almost stopped listening several times! Just horrible she would stop and have to restart every few minutes and stuttered several more times.
