Listened to multiple times already

I work 10 hour shifts around heavy machinery. I've gotten headphones to reduce the decibels for my hearing. This book is perfect for getting lost in as I work. I still feel emotional when Maia does even though I know what will happen. Well written and extremely well narrated. The narrator takes on different tones and voices to breathe life into the characters. very good pairing of author and narrator.

Great read

Good book. It reminds me of the other serie Muirwood quite interesting and I love that its technically a continuation.

Amazon sends out Prime Newsletters for books. Normally, I don't look at them, but for some reason, I did. I looked at the five books available and I purchased all of them. While they weren't my normal type books that I read, I joined Audible and started listening to "The Banished of Muirwood: Covenant of Muirwood, Book 1." I really enjoyed it even though I really had no idea what was going on.

Afterwards, I was hooked. Searching Jeff Wheeler, I found all his other books. Looked up the Reading Order and there I began.

Kate Rudd is the best story reader.

So many character voices and she excellent at bringing out their individual personalities. I drive 1hr + each way to work. These Audible books make it so easy to disconnect from the traffic.

good until the last scene

loved it, you never know whats going to come next. lots of twists and turns, adventure a little romance and an epic tale of a girl trying to over come her past and present.

Great continuation of the muirwood series. I like the storyline characters development. I definitely recommend it

Wonderful characters

I loved the characters in this book. As usual, Jeff delivers a great fantasy about a girl and her predicament with an awful father and a difficult life. I am conflicted about some parts of it. I never enjoyed the whole thing about people needing to marry by irrevocari sigil in his stories - it is a little too much like telling people who they can or should be with and I don’t agree at all with that way of thinking. In addition, the amount of suffering his characters do, in particular Maia, is sometimes bordering on ludicrous. Also to keep on with her faith in her father the way she does even after everything he does to her just doesn’t seem believable to me, no matter how “good” this girl is. In general, I enjoyed the book but some of the themes are questionable and have colored my enjoyment of the story.

Jeff Wheeler does it again! Another fantastic story performed beautifully by Kate Rudd! A must listen for any fantasy, romance, and story lover!!

Great story!

Very entertaining story, well narrated and a very easy listen. The story moved quickly and I'm lookibg forward to the second book.
