I’ve listened to a lot of humorous books on here.. and I don’t usually review books much less write one but this book is freaking amazing! They need a series!

Great narration and funny engaging story

I am a fan of Elle Spencer’s novels and this one made me laugh out loud in certain spots. Romance with comedy is a win!

Sweet and funny story!

This was a sweet and funny story. The two main characters were adorable and the chemistry was off the charts! The plot was very good and very sweet. Lula Larkin was an excellent narrator. Overall, an excellent story!

the only Elle Spencer that disapoints

i LOVE Elle Spencers writing. her characters have depth and are interesting and intelligent and deal with their problem in human ways. in this book, not so much, some of tje banter is too much, vapid and completely frivelous, the characters have depth but sometimes feel dumb and the big conflict build up has no payoff. it really feels like the very rough edited first half of an Elle Spencer novel with a token ending thrown on to get it published. entertaining but meh. not the kind of deep rich story telling that this author is capable of. go read Casting Lacey

I've really enjoyed Elle Spencer's books and her story lines are always unique which is refreshing. This one was also unique but the characters relationship transformation was not believable given the timeline and the narrarion wasn't my favorite.
