I love this series

Jenn McKinlay has created a fun group of characters. The only thing I wish was different is that the narrator tends to cut off the endings of her words. The story would be better if she were to enunciate.

They talked about the rodeo

I like hearing about the rodeo and all the different kind of cupcakes That they made and turning Cupcakes into Something different when they lost Electricity.

Very cozy mystery

I like this series. Keeps me interested. I finished the 6th book in one day.

Hooked on the series but…

I’m totally hooked on this series overall, but Mel’s attitude toward her relationship with Joe, holding him at a distance over fear almost made me DNF. It played too big a part in the story arc from book to book for me, and then involving detective manny as an almost love triangle was frustrating and started to make me dislike her. The cozy aspects of the series have been spectacular, the side characters, and the mystery aspect have kept me going. I love Oz, what a cutie, and I will keep reading bc I love a long series.

Good stories! Irritating narration.

I loved the stories — all three! However, the reader often does not pronounce ending consonants of words, and it’s distracting to say the least!

The characters were really interesting and actually quite funny. The narration was really very well done.

I like going from book to book without needing to learn new characters. Mel and Angie are perfect together!

Best one so far!

I enjoy are of Jenn McKinley books but this is by far the best one yet. The ending leaves you hanging to the point you can't wait to get the next one in this series!

Amazing Series!!

The series is awesome!!! It is somewhat predictable, but intriguing all the same. Now off to listen to the last three of the series.
