But he insists it's not just about the money - if you follow Stegmaier's advice, crowdfunding can enable you to build a loyal following before you even have a product. I think this book has some luls where the stories might not feel relevant to the reader but by the end Jamie really drives home why he has been such a successful Kickstarter. Making your projects about your backers is the most important thing you can do and I love how clearly this comes across throughout the book. Everytime I work on a project I re-listen to this book. It is the perfect audiobook to have in your arsenal for workmode "reading" as you go through your pages. I will no start it over from the top as I continue to working on my latest page.

This book is a wonderful resource and a play-by-play guide on how to be successful on Kickstarter. The author is in the same industry that I am in and I've seen firsthand that he is the best in the business. My only regret is that I didn't read it earlier!
