Dialectical Behavior Therapy

This book is different in that it is wonderfully structured so that it feels possible to attempt and then complete. The writing is easy to understand and relate to, and the exercises are practical and real. The book asks the kinds of questions that people suffering from depression can still answer and find some hope when doing so. It is the perfect supplement to my work and I will be suggesting to my clients that they consider this book. The skills are useful and practical and not cluttered with jargon and explanations.

This book gave me a lot of information.

Looks good so far and lots of info. I tend to put books down that don't grab my interest right away but I will read this one.

Really impressed

Exactly as described. Simple, concise, easy to understand description of the skills in first part of book.Surrender to win . Dialectical Behavior Therapy has proven effective in reducing depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other symptoms prevalent in different types of mental health issues.

The content and narrator are great!

This was a great book to listen to as my daughter and I start this journey of DBT. The narrator was a great asset to it making it easy to listen to.

Definitely worth the listen

I learned so much about DBT therapy and emotional eating by listening to this book. I am so glad I read this and got a book form for reference in the future.

Great Resource

To control your emotions and overcome any stress you have is never easy especially you are in the dark side of it. This is the best therapy I ever listen that for me is effective enough to take charge of all.

Very insightful!

Easy to follow and you can jump around to various chapters, as I do to follow my class. It has helped me a lot by recognizing my behavioral trends with emotionally thinking and bringing me to the here and now. I highly recommend!! One of the best self help books I have used.

Good content.

With the strategies and techniques of DBT I am sure that can help you control negativeness and be completely happy in your life. The narration of the book adds the motivation it gives to the listener.
