その土台は、仕事で何ができるかを把握し能力を伸ばすこと。
仕事のダンドリ、説得的会話、思考、情報収集、提案といった基礎を学習し、「7つの力」を身につける。
●はじめに--「どこでも通用するスキル」を身につけよう
私は、ビジネススキルを指導する教育コンサルタントとして、雑誌や書籍に
研究成果を発表したり、企業向けの研修やコンサルティングを行っている。
さらに、実務フィールドで仕事をする課長職として、日々、チームメンバーと
ともに遂行するという顔をもっている。なぜ、私が、コンサルタントと企業の
課長職の2つの立場で働いているかというと、バブル崩壊後、自分の力で
生きていきたいと思い、必要なスキルを身につけるために活動してきたからだ。

このように、企業で働く「会社員」と同時にコンサルタントという「事業主」
としての仕事もしているとそれぞれの仕事に相乗効果が出るのだが、
とくによい影響が出るのが、「会社員」の立場の方だ。
たとえば、私の企画はコストや他の負担をあまりかけないで、最大効果を出すことを
基本としている。これには、「どこでも通用するための7つの力」の一つ
「ビジネスマッチング力」(企業の持つ有形・無形価値の交換により、
自社の現金支出を抑止する手法)を使う。私は「会社員」としても
ビジネスマッチングをよく使うが、金がかからないビジネスプランなので、
反対されることが少なく、成果となりやすい。
他の例としては「仕事に真剣になり、確実に成果を出そうと創意工夫する
意欲が高まる」ことだ。「会社員」は大きな仕事を部分的に担当していることが
多い上に必ず給与がもらえるのでどうしても甘えが残りやすい。
しかし、「事業主」は真剣である。売れなければ、自分の作業や交通費、
経費は全て持ち出しであるから、このリスクをどうヘッジするかを考えないと
儲かる「事業主」にはなりえない。
このように事業活動を極力ノーリスクで行うことがどれだけ大変かを知ること、
そして、事業を確実に成功させるスキルを持つことは、企業にとっては非常に
魅力的に映る。そういう人が「企業がほしがる人材」なのである。
だが、私にとって最もよかったことは、雇用不安がなくなったことだ。
会社に依存せず、自分で生きていける自信と人脈、ビジネスモデルを得ることが
出来たと思っている。会社員として、「どこでも通用する力=スキル」をもつことは
非常に大事だと思う。萎縮したり、閉塞感を感じる必要がないので自由な発想で
行動できるようになる。企業の中で元気なく人から言われたことを非効率なまま
続けている人と、自分で考え工夫して利益ベースで2億規模の成果を出し続ける人の
どちらをほしいか。前者なら無料でも要らない人かも知れないし、
後者なら「1億出してもほしい人」になるだろう。
