【本書の内容】
特に今の若者たちはほんとうに厳しく、生きづらい時代を生きていると思う。
僕が10代だった1960年代は明るい時代だった。
米ソの核戦争が始まって世界が滅びるのではないかという恐怖が一方にはあったが、そんなことを日本人が心配しても止める手立てもない。
「どうせ死ぬなら、今のうちに楽しんでおこう」という半ばヤケクソの、ワイルドでアナーキーな気分が横溢していた。
だから、自由で、民主的で、いろいろな分野で次々とイノベーションが起きるとても風通しのいい時代だった。
それに比べると、今の日本の社会はとても風通しが悪い。息が詰まりそうだ。
誰もが「生きづらさ」を感じている。世界は移行期的混乱のうちにあり、あらゆる面で既存のシステムやルールが壊れかけているのに、日本の社会はその変化に柔軟に対応できず、硬直化している。
