An Excellent, mandatory read for all Americans!

Liz Cheney has given us all an excellent explanation of the realities sounding and inclusive of the January 6th Inserrection upon the sacred grounds of the Capitol and what currently places our Democracy in great danger. The book tells us of the honor and courage of those who came and come forth to save our Democracy at possible great peril to themselves and their families; the true Patriots of our country. We need to heed this warning and do all we each have the power to do to maintain our Democracy with all the hard fought freedoms it allows us all. Thank you, Liz Cheney for this knowledge and for all you have done and are currently engaged in bringing this abomination to light.

I read this book years ago, when it was first published. My late Mom and I would read it to each other many times. It was such a joy to hear it read once again. We have always had a cat in our home. And as the saying goes, dogs have masters, cats have staff! Enjoy this Herriot gem!!

Dr. Tom is A wonderful storyteller! His narration of his many life experiences are interesting and informative. This third volume should be read/listened with the previous two. I only wish there was a fourth volume, I could listen to him for days and never tire!

Doing the right thing is many times the hardest thing to do in Life, yet the only way to conduct one's behavior and life in supporting, contributing to the rule of law, ethics, and integrity needed to maintain a just society. A society based on truth and maintenance of human dignity and freedom.
Doing the right thing can have adverse effects on the individuals who risk their own personal outcomes when dealing with the bullies, tyrants and selfish bad actors of the world.
Lt. Col. Vindman paid the price in his military career and personal life for being a bold person of integrity upholding his oath to the Constitution and Duty to do the right thing. He should be honored by us all for contributing to the maintenance of our presently fragile democracy. He deserves our unwavering thanks. He is a true American Hero.
