I’ve waited for this and it didn’t disappoint. Liz Cheney rocks!

What an amazingly courageous, dedicated, inspiring testament of moral values. Of all the books that sprung out of January 6th and the indecency of Trumps term in office, this is the one to read. It’s even better on audiobook, in her own voice. A must for anyone who cares.

I didn’t think I would hear anything new…

An incredible account of the attempted coup, presented in a logical and factual way. Also gives some background on Mike Johnson which was interesting.

Absolutely Enlightening

This was enlightening and frightening. I appreciate her for writing this book. A must read .

Outstanding

Liz Cheney is clear, concise , dedicated and convincing. I have read many texts about January 6 and watched every one of the televised committee reports , but I found her unique insights into the Republican Party and its workings to be fresh and a surprise. Excellent read!

Liz Cheney is a true American Patriot

She is a national treasure. Period. This is clear even if you’re not conservative or Republican. Badass Liz.

A must read book

Liz Chaney puts the story of Trump’s insurrection in sequence and fills in some of the holes that I didn’t know. Donald Trump is a monster and she makes that very clear and credible. She also makes it clear who the present co-conspirators are. Trump and the “Freedom Caucus” are a threat to the republic and we need to clean these people out of the government at the polls. We have a number of people in Congress who not only don’t belong there, but really belong in prison for treason.

For every American who truly desires the actual, factual truth about January 6th!!!

Wow! This is my 1st book review so this should tell you how important this review is to me.This account of American history gives you the insight and riveting details that makes you feel as though you were walking in the shoes of a true American patriot. Not a fan of her policies But I admire her willingness to sacrifice it all for the truth. RESPECT!!!

Truth

This is the most important of thousands of books I have read. I have never agreed with Liz on political issues but we agree on our love of country, the Constitution, and the obvious threat that Trump represents. She gives us so many behind the scenes actions and discussions plus the political maneuverings that never reaches the level of the nation news. We learn so much about her that helps us understand how she gave up a secure political future in order to do what is tremendously important for our country. Her reading of her book also adds so much as you can hear the clarity and sincerity of the narrative. I am a true independent who has probably voted for more Democrats over time but whether you are a D, R, or I it makes no difference. You must read or listen to this book.

The truth will prevail. I commend Liz Cheney for defense of our democracy despite the personal cost.

Excellence and candor. This should be required reading by everyone who values freedom and truth.

Outstanding, riveting, evocative, compelling 

Lifelong Democrat here and I have the deepest respect for Representative Cheney. She and this book have grit, morals, and guts. John F Kennedy was my first president and she reminds me so much of that era of leadership that I grew up in- when politicians were educated about our history, interested in moving the country as a whole forward, and being accountable. Hurrah Liz. You summoned up this aching American pride that has been buried deep inside me since 2016. You are a true leader. Thank you for your courage.
