Story
When Andie tries to gain closure with her ex-husband, he asks one final favor of her. A distant cousin has died and left North the guardian of two orphans. When Andie meets the two children, she realizes the situation is much worse than she feared. Carter and Alice aren’t your average delinquents, and the creepy old house where they live is being run by the worst housekeeper since Mrs. Danvers. Complicating matters is Andie’s fiancé’s suspicion that this is all a plan by North to get Andie back.

GODs name taken in vain-f word used-not believable

Story began like it would be a good read but the longer it went, the worse it got. The 2nd half was real distasteful. Lots of loss ends. I would not recommend this book. I really hate to hear my Lord's name used as it was here and the "F" word was so un necessary. I thought these books were written by smart people with much better word useage. It seems to be harder and harder to find a good book.

"DARLING JIM" SOUNDED LIKE A NICE READ. HOWEVER I DIDN'T GET BEYOND THE SECOND CHAPTER BECAUSE OF THE USE OF THE "F" WORD. IT WAS NOT NEEDED ANK KILLED THE STORY FOR ME. I WOULDN'T HAVE GIVEN IT ONE STAR BUT ALL FIELDS HAD TO BE COMPOLETED

I would have stopped reading this book had the story line not been so interesting. My Lord Juses' name was taken in vain often; I just shuttered. The profanity could have been omitted as well as the detailed sexual actions. I will be very careful when selecting Nora Roberts books. The Harsh, profane, and sexual language caused me to rate this book with 1 star.
