I like this storyline and would love to get into the characters lives a bit more ;find out more of their previous personalities. The love seems real enough, just doesn't feel right. It seems a bit immature.
Im surprised I listened to the entire audiobook since the narrator ruined it for me and perhaps this is why I fast forwarded through some of her quiet , one syllable tone. Sorry I think sometimes the author should let others read their words. They would hear their story in a completely different way.

I can’t even get past the first chapter of this book! The narrator is awful and the story sounds silly.

This is an awesome addition to the authors All Souls series. Its great to learn more about some of the background characters lives and how they interact with the rest of the family as well as the enemies . Deborah Harkness writes as though you were there in the book with all of the action. Each book has held me captive right through to the end. I hope there are more books to come in the series. #exciting #magical #tagsgiving #sweepstakes.

This was a sad story that could happen in real life at any time and actually does too often to fathom. To lose a child and not know what happened to her would be horrible. The truth shall set you free is fitting for the main character who lost her daughter. The journey to find her is a bittersweet affirmation of life. I enjoyed the author’s writing style and would definitely read more of her books in the future. #emotional #psycholady #journey #tagsgiving #sweepstakes

The storyline might have been very interesting if written a bit better . Alot of choppy sentences and immature dialog. What bothered me the most was the narrator! She spoke quickly in a monotone, with short , clipped words. She reminded me of Debbie Downer on Saturday night Live. It seemed like all was doom and gloom. I really wanted to read this series but wont even try finishing this one .

I do agree that this is a very interesting and fun witchy book with great characters. But I almost didnt finish it because of the narrators softly sexual voice. In fact , I stopped listening for a time and went on to another book, but I didnt want to give up on a potentially good story. I could barely hear the narrator and had to hold my Ipad up to my ear to hear it! I went to Walmart and bought a speaker for it just so I could hear it better! Im not sure I want to go on to the next book in the series.
