wish it was spicier

I went into this hoping for more spice. The spice is 1/5. It wasn't that creative for a harem romance. I would have loved more multi-partner scenes, along with greater diversity within the scenes. Each sex scene was practically the same.

World-building wise, I enjoyed learning about the different kinds of shifters, the fae, and the vampires. I stayed for the plot and for Kylie. She made the books tbh. I'd likely read a series about her if it was made.

I wish there was more variety in the syntax, as sometimes there were scenes that seemed too flowy for the mood and pace of the moment.

I love a campy werewolf spicy novel as much as the next, but this? I feel like it could have been edited a lot more so it wasn't 9 chapters and an epilogue.

Everything in the plot moves too fast. the characters constantly contradict themselves. The spicy scenes aren't that great. He uses pet names too early and she's immediately wanting to be in his pants.

maybe it's because I hate the pet name baby... but it's so overused and the way he speaks to her is so cliché. I couldn't finish it.

There's literally nothing to make their relationship worth investing in.

The author though? He did an amazing job in trying to differentiate between characters. His accents are on point.

I loved the use of shifting perspective, and Elise is such a cheeky and charming woman! I loved the themes utilized and repeated key phrases that made bigger impact each time! Wonderful uses of tropes without feeling too cliché.

I enjoyed the French and Dutch phrases weaved in, it added to the characters themselves.

Narration was perfection! I love dual narration, if you haven't given it a chance I strongly recommend!
