This book is basically a rewrite of the last book with a few more details. It was a great disappointment. I felt it was just a grab for more profit and gave very little as a new book!

Most people think that being prepared for catastrophe means stocking up on MREs and building a bunker in their backyard, but this approach leaves you vulnerable in the real world of car accidents, natural disasters, grid failures, and global pandemics. Prepared overturns today’s paranoid survival wisdom and teaches the foundational skills of preparedness that will not only help you build situational awareness and achieve greater mobility but that will also help you build resilient mental habits.

But just as the political chaos in the nation’s capital lifts him to new heights, Marshall is forced to return home in spite of his boyhood vow. His father is dying, his mother is struggling to keep the family newspaper from failing, and the town is in the midst of an economic rebirth that might be built upon crimes that reach into the state capitol - and perhaps even to Washington.

This has to be the worst audio book I’ve attempted listening to, so far in my LIFE!
I listened to the first 1 chapter and maybe a half of the second. I could NOT listen farther!
Listening to this is like I’m listening to a screen-write being read to me… It would be great if I were a movie producer and considering this book for making movie… But, certainly not listening for any pleasure!
A total MINUS 1,000! But, that rating is not available for assignment! 😡

What would have made Cephrael's Hand better?
Find a different narrator.
Would you be willing to try another book from Melissa McPhail? Why or why not?
So long as there is a different narrator… the story line is good.
Would you be willing to try another one of Nick Podehl’s performances?
NO!
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
The story line is good.
Any additional comments?
Just cannot coop with the NASAL SOUND of the narrator!

Cannot get over the 'nasal' voice...!
Reviewed: 12-09-16
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
If a person can possibly coop with a STRONG NASAL voice, you MIGHT be able to tolerate the narrator … Take great care!
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
The story line, I believe is worthy.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of the narrators?
Damn near anyone other than this person.
Any additional comments?
The supporting voices are very good, it is a shame they do do not play a greater role!
